I think the game concept and art look pretty cool. Some things aren't very clear to me such as the key to press to consume things from the vending machine. (I managed to figure it out though). I do wish there was more variety. Maybe different colored enemies or more weapons. The slot machine aspect is alright. I do wish it had more of an impact on the gameplay. Neat game though!

I thought the artwork had a lot of charm to it! It's fun game, just needs a bit more, like maybe more guns I can upgrade to , or some other mechanic that adds to the experience. Nice work overall though!

Slot machine idea is good but it always seem to be land on downgrade which doesn't motivate the player to progress. Also it enemies doesn't seem to spawn more than 2 at a time which makes it very underwhelming.

From one arena survival game with dice based enemies to another, you got everything good about the formula!
I like the duality and chance of the upgrades, definitely gives that little dopamine hit.

Here are minor things that I would improve.
Adding a minor delay for the buttons on the upgrade menu (I started the game spam clicking, cause I didn't know you could hold shoot, and accidentally insta-clicked the choices without seeing them).
Make reloads automatic and take a moment, but maybe speed up when pressing R. Having to constantly press R to reload every time strained my hand pretty badly.

Fun little game, always a blast with an incremental action survival game.

Loving the concept! Tho sometimes its annoying when its 5 negative upgrades and one positive on both sides >:C but I guess is part of the RNG! For a future release that could be tweaked by making one side less harsh in exchange for less bonuses.

Apart from the music being too loud and a weird hitbox, everything is really good!

Love the concept of upgrades being based on slot machines, and its animation. I wish it was more visible what the upgrades do, have them make a bigger difference, and maybe for them to be random to some degree, to match the slot machine aesthetic (don't know if it would work in gameplay).  As a whole really enjoyed this game and its vibe. + wish there was more animations for the player, and maybe more custom ui for health, bullets left, slot selection, etc...

Hey! I loved your game as well and left a review! I had originally hoped to do a lot more with how the item pickups work as well as having them say what they do when highlighted before picking them up. While we certainly managed to create a decent core game play loop like you've said, we didn't really leave our self with a lot of time to expand on it. As for the art, I unfortunately did NOT leave myself with a reasonable amount of time to do it haha.

Banger soundtrack. The game reminds me in the best possible way to one of those web games I used to play, simple but addicting.

Thank you so much! Be sure to check out Pink Octo's page, they did phenomenal on the soundtrack. I've had multiple people telling me that the game reminds them of old school flash, I think my childhood gaming craze really came through in this one haha. Your game was also awesome! I can't believe you cranked out such polished visuals in only a week!!!

I will for sure. Your game 100% reminded of the games I used to play back in school, it was a nice dose of nostalgia and thanks a lot for taking the time to play our game and the kind words.
