Getting tons of swords felt really good!
thank you :)
Really creative take on the jam's theme. I thought the mechanics played really well, had a lot fun in this sword bananza. A boost to the soundtrack would def add to the experience but all in all cracking job!
thank you! :)
Awesome idea and story. Having the sword live on to fight is such a cool idea. Great first game! Could definitely take this a few directions if you return to it in the future.
thank you very much for all your help too!
Pretty cool! i liked the mechanics and the vibe of the game ,i do think it needs a lil more polish! but the core of the game is solid
thank you :)
Cool idea!
It's giving Flash vibes. Although the graphics could be more polished and the audio sounds like it came from a horror game. For real, the death sound made me die in real life for a few seconds.
Had fun for the time I played! <3

LOL thank you I am very inspired by flash games cause that's what I grew up playing! I was going for a dark fantasy/gothic aesthetic
The little plot twist at the end is crazy haha i like it. I had fun just spinning the sword, it wasn't too difficult to go through it once you had multiples of them. Great job making it!
thank you!! :)
Very fun! A bit on the simple side, but hey it's a game jam. Future tip though: If a category isn't in the scoring, try not to spend too much time on it. The narrative is so engaging, and well thought through, but I can't give you the rating you deserve for it because it's not a score. But either way, scores well enough, you should be proud considering this is your first jam!
thanks!! :) the story was in order to fit the seriousness theme :)
The game is so cool even if its hard I really appreciated finishing this game and the concept is surprising, Great job creating this masterpiece !
sincerely thank you that means so much to me
I really like this to a point now I am questioning my game decision XD. A little work on the visual might suit better.
Thank you
:) hey zombie kitchen is definitely one of the most unique games I've played in the jam
Loved the look and sound of this one! very Apollo Gauntlet. I failed miserably but had a lot of fun doing it.
thank you :)
Ayo! This was a pretty fun ( but challenging game ) imma be honest with you I rage quitted it but I adored the artstyle, the dark fantasy aesthetics are top notch. Only complain is let us start the game with atleast 1 sword since allot of runs I couldnt grab one in the start ( to be fair I was stupid and didnt know you could move up and down ) but regardless an AWESOME game for your first! I hope you develop more in the future!
Thank you :)
The game is chalenging but its also fun
Thank you :)
Really liked the game, it is challenging but in a good way. I love bullet hell games and this one wasnt an exception. The unique art adds a lot to the game and the gameplay is very enjoyable. great game!
I'm honored to be enjoyed by someone who plays bullet hells, thank you!
a fun and addicting bullet(sword) hell game, understandable controls, nice art and fitting music, great job!
Thank you! :)
I really enjoyed the game! The story was fun and I enjoyed accumulating lots of swords before the end of each level. I also enjoyed the music and sounds! I just wish we could use the sprites you showed at the end of the game as unlockable skins! Aside from that, I give it a high rating of 10 spinning swords
Thank you very much! (those sprites serve as a “teaser” for what’s to come if people want me to expand this game, since scope discipline prevented me from trying to add more stuff lol) :)
That was fun! It was nice having the story and dialog to help create a sense of progress. I didn't find it to be very challenging though, eventually you seem to get so many swords that nothing can hit you and you can just spin in one direction the whole time. It would be neat to see addition enemies or waves of enemies spawn per stage to build up difficulty, different swords with different effects, things like that :)
thank you!! :) yes I am so excited to expand this idea with awesome tips like yours!
Incredibly fun game! It took a while to get used to the controls, but after replaying this a few times, I can confidently say that this game is really well made. The story is especially good; I love the little twist at the end. Honestly, my only critique is that the game is too short lol
Great work!
thank you very much that means a lot
I liked the art and the visuals of the spinning swords. Biggest pain point is the audio balancing; I had my volume up well to hear the music, and then suddenly getting hit by a fireball was way too loud. Same with the opening cutscene.
Starting with a sword at the beginning when being told the controls would be helpful, as I was confused why nothing was spinning before I had collected anything. Changing the order of the instructions also would’ve worked for me.
The game’s interesting to look at, so I think either a more forgiving health system or easier starting levels would have kept me playing longer.
thank you!!
this is VERY good feedback, I’ll make sure I get the tutorial right next time AND I’ll improve in audio! :)
Great job finishing your first ever game! The sword breaking mechanic took a bit to get used to, but I enjoyed the creativity. I kind of wish that you, a sword, would be able to have some kind of attack if you ran out, but I got to the end without. I'd say my biggest frustration though was getting a sword, only for it to break instantly - maybe if newly picked swords were invulnerable for 0.5s or something, that would've helped a lot. Anyway, I enjoyed it, and congrats. :D
Metagame cog 45/126
thank you very much :) congrats on the cog/gear piece !
