I see the vision here but the onboarding could be better. Consider working on this game further after the jam, could be a great game!
I loved the visuals and the style of the game, really beautiful. The start was a little hard to figure it out, so maybe it could use a little hints or tutorials in game. But the experience was really fun and very creative. Great work!
I enjoyed the style and the idea of the game, but I didn't get how to spin it faster even if the shop is all sold out. Fan childish style + fun music in the background (however, quite loud - had to play on low volume level).
Definitely fits the theme
I liked the ending where it flies away. Very fun game and the way the player interacted with things was very unique. Great game!
Really funny take on the theme! I really loved the art style on everything and being able to pick stuff up with my hand. My only complaint is that it was sometimes hard to tell where the hand was, even with the shadow on the ground, and that people continuously fell off or blocked the thing from moving.
I really liked the implementation of the theme, would have loved a short description for each item so I know what I'm buying. Other than some minor inconveniences with the speed of the copter when a person was placed on it, and them falling out sometimes, I enjoyed it!
Fun game, I like the interactivity with the objects in the world like pumping the rocket, spinning and buying items. The art is quite neat too.
Though a lot of the time it felt kinda clunky for me to spin the copter, the humans would fall out and it was hard to get a decent speed. I got a few upgrades but it still felt kinda bad. But maybe thats the point? Or I haven't got enough upgrades lol. (Also some more SFX would have been nice)
Either way nice game I liked it :]
I really like how tactile the game feels and having to press physical buttons in the world. It's a lot different than just in-game UI. Some thoughts:
- The gameplay core loop is actually really nice. It's kind of like an incremental game but it's not as tiring or tedium as other games that try to take the same formula
My only concern would be:
- Not sure what propellor does, and I wish there were a bit more sound effects such as rocket running in the background when you're in the shop, or sound of people screaming when they fly away from the wheel.
Thanks for playing! Propeller is supposed to launch the roundabout in the air when you spin it up fast enough, and I agree that there should've been more sfx
Cool game it really captured my attention.
I really liked the game’s design—it looks great! :) I just wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do. A short tutorial at the beginning would have been really helpful. I also liked the idea of the shop, but I wasn’t sure how it was supposed to work. The items didn’t stay on the checkout for me, so I couldn’t really figure it out. I also didn’t know how to pay for the items or where I was supposed to get the money from, so I was a bit confused. Overall, I think it’s a cool concept with a lot of potential. :)
Yeah, I unfortunately ran out of time to do a proper tutorial, so the game relies on intuition. I added some tips to the game's description
Really solid submission for the jam! The first thing that caught my eye was the visuals — the graphics look absolutely wonderful and clean. I also want to praise the controls; the movement feels incredibly smooth and satisfying to play.
It took me a moment to fully grasp the main objective and figure out where to go, but exploring the game was a fun experience anyway! Awesome job, you have a great foundation here. Best of luck in the jam! 🚀
