This game is freaking awesome, I especially adore the visuals and music. The gameplay itself, whilst simple, is also super enjoyable and the perfect level of challenge without being overly frustrating. More gamers should try out this game that's for sure!
Visuals, background specifically, is very obscuring especially when you are moving. The movement feel is satisfying tho with the sword.
Really nice! My favorite thing about the game is getting multiple hits in a row, it's very satisfying. I think if you make the background less cluttered it would be easier to see the enemies coming after you. Occasionally placed patches of ground decorations would work! One more thing for the sword spin, maybe making it have separate controls would create a better flow of gameplay like WASD for the movement and the arrow keys for the sword spin. Great job on this!
Cute and interesting concept for movement, but think it would benefit from some kind of tutorial because I was a little bit confused at first
I like the concept for the game, and I found myself wanting to keep playing, just a few problems with visibility, like the background being very hard to look at for long periods of time due to the high contrast nature, and basically feeling like white noise in motion. The game is also quite difficult, and the player might move a little too fast because it was usually accidentally running into an enemy because of the difficulty to control the movement of my character rather than me getting cornered or something like that. The concept is really good, and I like the idea for the gameplay, just a few tweaks to make it so that I could see the rest of the game and what kinds of upgrades you made that I didn't see.
It's really hard to control.
