Very fun mechanic! It took me a couple of tries to understand exactly what to do, but once I got there it was great! Gameplay-wise I wish I had more blades to put on the brown wheels (though this may have been a bug in my playthrough). I also only saw different sized wheels once, and it would've been nice to utilize that more.

The slimes sometimes went through cogs, and while I don't think it was intentional I could just push them back by holding a cog and slamming them with it lol. Overall, I think with a bit of polishing this could be a very enjoyable game!

Interesting idea, I like core loop. Building the machine was straightfoward though occasionally when swapping gears would behave opposite what I expected (speed up/slow down). Felt like I was missing something with the fire/white circles.

Thanks, the gears speed are supposed to work like regular gears (big to small means faster)  and the "poles" are always at the same speed as the gears touching them, which should allow you to slow gears as well as speed them up. But it sometimes bugs and I don't know why.
The fire, is meant to be attached to "poles" to deal more damage to slimes, and the sphere push the slimes and should be able to receive elements such as fire or blade, but I ran out of time to debug the elements and spheres, I'll most likeley update the game when I have the time to do a deeper version.
