Neat idea, I liked the color palette and the art

Very Good game! I like that it feels coherent visually and the concept is pretty cool also!

Really fun and creative game! The pixel art and visual effects look amazing, and the gameplay feels unique and satisfying. The controls were a bit confusing at first, so a clearer tutorial could help. Overall, great jam entry!

Oh no, what have I done, the universe is destroyed :D

This one was quite fun to play. I kinda like orbit mechanics. The visuals are very nice, only some text is hard to read in my opinion.

As a suggestion: it would be nice if once you shoot the ball, the camera would follow it such that you can follow better what you have done.

One thing I also liked is that you keep the configuration of your previous shot, so you can make small manual tweaks to adjust the course in your next shot. This all makes it feel very fair and fun to play.

Pretty solid entry in the jam, nicely done!

The style this game has is heartstoppingly gorgeous, I just wish the controls were easier to understand. I wound up skipping two levels before realizing the button I was pressing skipped levels, and wasn't able to go back. The game also didn't work nicely for me in fullscreen on the web build. I'm also just not a fan of skip buttons in puzzle games. It really just removes any engagement because it removes all stakes.

Once I picked up on the controls I did enjoy the gameplay, I thought I was going to dislike the camera but honestly I wound up liking it by the end. The trail of the projectile planet wound up more than compensating for the lack of sight on said planet, and brought more charm to the game. Again, the style is stunning both in just general art, and how it was implemented into the engine. The sound design is also great, with the exception of it being a bit too loud sometimes.

Overall though the concept and game is pretty good, and the overall game felt pretty well polished especially when compared to the average jam game.

The art is really cool, and the explosion screens were especially satisfying to see! I also really liked the music, especially the tension it creates when the planet bomb is moving, like, “Is it gonna smash and create an explosion of epic proportions, or is it gonna miss?”

Overall, really fun and creative game! 🔥🔥🔥

This game was great! I loved the visual style and the mechanics were awsome, however the game could really benifit from a more clear tutorial, as it took me about a minute of fiddling with the controls before i understood anything.

I really enjoyed it! The pixel art is very well made and combining all the elements in the final few levels was really satisfying.

At first I didn't know what the skip button was for and I had to find out by skipping a level, so it's worth adding a small text near the button.

Great work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! 100% right about a note for the skip button.

This is awesome! the art is top notch! The music sounds very N64 inspired, it could be in Mario 64. I’ve even found a little hack where I can put my moveable planet in an asteroid and push it around, I completed level 3 (?) skipping both checkpoints.

Good work!

Thank you so much! Yeah... we did notice this exploit but we couldn't find a good way to solve it. Glad that you liked it :)

I once had an idea like this, and I really like how you've done this game! The visuals and audio are on-point, and the gameplay is fun and creative. Great game!

I think it’s a really fun pixel-art game. To be honest, I didn’t quite grasp the spin to win aspect, but it’s still amazing regardless! The visual effects during massive explosions are spectacular, giving you a real sense of accomplishment when you clear a stage. It’s fantastic!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The idea is technically that you "spin around" planets to go through the level and reach the goal... but I can tell you that we discussed this exact point many times during this week lol we are glad that you liked it anyway! :)

Hold the fort, Planetary Billiards? 10/10 just for the idea alone! This was an amazing game, and what I think is pretty obvious is that the visuals were out of this world dare I say! game itself was fun too and the music and audio was also incredible, good job ya'll!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the comment! We found it also very funny when we came out with the idea lol we are glad that you enjoyed :)

Wasn't sure how to pass the second or maybe third level - that said the visuals were 10/10, audio was excellent and theme interpretation is really cool. Amazing work for such a short time.

Thank you!! We are so glad that you enjoyed the art. We definitely overlooked a bit the level design but we made well use of these last 24h so feel free to check out the game again after the final deadline. We are sure that you enjoyed it more!

I may be dum with how much ive struggled here First I assumed that cuz its billjards youd need to drag Away from where you’re shooting rather then drag to where you want it to go… And after figuring that out on the second level I thought the goal was to shoot into the gap between the rocks for the planet as I didnt see the blackhole behind it…

I ended up not getting super far before I stopped having fun, which is a shame since the game is stunning, the music and sound effects are really nice, and the dialogue is so charming! Plus the game is quite forgiving in giving you a full preview of the trajectory of your shot and letting you reset so easily But sadly as a player it feels a bit too finicky to trail and error my way through these very difficult screens Suppose it’s just a skill issue and that this isn’t fully my type of thing, and that bothers me since the game is really good and it’d be awesome to play through all of it!

Absolutely wonderful entry and I still can’t get over how much I like the pixel art

Developer

Thanks a lot for the sincere feedback!! The gameplay was rough at some points for sure. We made well use of these extra 24h for more polish, so feel free to check it out once the deadline is really over. I am sure you will be then manage to see all the content!

In any case, we are really happy that you enjoyed the art! I think the palette did the heavylifting on this one but we are glad of the final look. Thank you for your words!
