How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
My game is a traditional platformer with run and jump mechanics from one plat form to the next. what makes out game interesting is we have the player traverse the level by swapping between worlds in order to further progress in the dungeon.

What theme does this game use? also explain how you implemented the theme
The theme we used was speed running as we gave the player a lot of movement options. in one world the player can run and jump but in the other they can run jump double jump dash wall jump.

Did you use any AI or PREMADE assets in this game?
No AI was used in Dungeon runners only very few free assets from the unity store and miximo character and animations(which don't even work) Art and design outside of the free assets made where all made from scratch for this game by Avi Love the Game Designer of the team. we had 1 programmer Viet Le and finally our technical sound designer and musician, Alejandro Guti

Has really good audio, but the game is held back by some prominent issues. The movement for the player needs a bit more polish. Double jumping is very inconsistent, you have to do the second jump early to get maximum height. I don't like how the player slides along the ground for a good while before stopping. It does not feel very tight. I got softlocked in an area where I was supposed to grab a key but was unable to collect it. The key seemed like it was too far forward on the Z-axis for me to collect it.
I did like getting lost in the maze, switching between the two worlds. This game has a great foundation.

Developer

but thank you very much for all the feedback!!!

It might be better to use a simpler character with animations and so on that would present fewer issues than a human model

Developer

Yea i agree i was going to use my own model but the rig did not work so i said fuck it and slapped a miximo model in and we did not have enough time to get the animations working :( but next game ill make player characters that are more simple.

There is no way out(I need a quit button I had to kill process)! I got stuck with the double jump and could not figure out the correct mechanics. It was a great idea, thanks for sharing!
