The concept is cool, but the clipping happens way too often, and sometimes you fall out of bounds... (not that I can complain since in my game (also with mazes btw) you spawned out of bounds, didnt know why, so I just teleported you to the middle, but built wrong the left wall and now it has an undertale reference in it). Maybe you could have made the cube spin with the maze as well. It could be a bit underwhelming not being able to build momentum but i think it would be an improvement.
the clipping was something i tried to fix but i never could figure out the issue and i never messed with the marble much but i wish i did, thanks for the suggestions though
The cube needed a lot more gravity and to not clip through walls so easily. The concept was good, and the maze levels were well designed, but it was frustrating to actually play due to how floaty the cube felt, and how much I just had to focus on not clipping through walls.
the clipping thing was something i kept trying to figure out a fix for and sadly never figured out, thanks for the suggestion for the cube though
Nice maze game, kinda buggy but good idea, my team did something similar if you wanna check out game.
your game's pretty good, definitely a fun and creative game to play
Clipping through the walls is super satisfying you can skip a lot of the maze that way. I think it would benefit from a game over/you win screen and sound effects when the cube hits the maze!
maybe i'll make it into a feature if i do something like this again
You can easily fix the rapid mouse rotation bug by limiting the amount you can rotate per frame, or scrap the mouse movement all together and simply use A and D to move clockwise and counter-clockwise
thanks for the tip
