The idea sounded good and I was excited to play, the upgrades were cool, but I did find some problems that broke the game quite a bit:
- You can edit the multiplier and spam to just get infinite money immediately, making the upgrades needless as you can just type the amount you make.
- The graphics was not consistent, the environment was different to the kids, to the stall etc. Consistency will do a lot for the feel.
I like the concept, and the upgrades are pretty unique. Though maybe there could have been an extra layer to the spinning to keep things more engaging while you gain points
It's a interesing concept for a incremental game but I think it needed some more art or at least it to be more coherent. The super smooth bushes and objects contrast way too much with the low poly kids and the hyperrealistic skybox is way too realistic compared to everything on the scene. I did like that the menus were all in game space and the camera moved instead of a UI
Pretty neat concept, incremental games aren't usually my cup of tea so I don't have much to say about the gameplay, but I did find a bug, probably a floating point precision error that didn't get rounded away, where after getting a high-enough multiplier it started rendering as x40.00000001, with the text being so large it grew a vertical scroll bar and took up the entire screen.
it became somewhat of a goal for my friends to make it to that point on the multiplier lmao. I also didn’t have time to solve it lol. Thank you for playing!
Wow, a lot of fun actually. Number go up game just scratches a certain itch lol
Thank you! I wish it could be cleaner and more polished but what is a game jam if not the oposite of those things
very charming game, the style and concept is fun!
I did find a bug were I can edit the number under spin and just spam spin to get money
omg I added this back in for testing purposes and forgot to remove it from the final. Thank you
I thought I'd have to spam clicks but having to do it to a rhythm and getting to use the spacebar wasn't that bad actually... I had to focus up quite a bit... The game does start a bit slow huh, but you can get insane multipliers... The ghost kid does come in clutch a bit...
And ah poor guy, having to keep spinning after your 5th vomit has gotta be hell on earth.
Very cool idea and unique concept for the theme! I found it a bit difficult to earn money, I focused on the chair grease and crowd, but it was still very slow in my opinion. I really like the handdrawn UI and a banger of the background music. There is a lot of potential for future upgrades in the shop and effects. I enjoyed it!
Yeah it really is the Delayed Gratification and the crowd that does it. Multiplier ofc too lol. Thank you for trying it!
Well I immediately knew that I must play this when I saw the title, and I spent way more time than I am proud to admit on this. I enjoyed this very involved style of incrimental game. I enjoyed it so much in fact that I have gone from playing on the browser to downloading it just so that I can get the best experience from it. For a first jam game together, you two did awesome!
You know, I wasn't sold on the premise at first glance, but I thought this was pretty fun. Getting multiple full bars and watching the multiplier skyrocket and cover half the screen was hypnotizing, I swear. I agree with the other commenters so far that it's a little grindy at the start, but not unbearable. Nice work.
Really cool game ! I liked the main mechanic, and the sound effects were satisfying. My only gripe was that I felt like I wasn't really rewarded enough at the beginning. But overall, great game.
Good game! I enjoyed timing the mechanic. Puke meter could go a bit faster because sometimes you get a really good spin and then miss one really fast and it feels bad. Maybe make it puke with whatever multiplier you have? Also the shop seemed empty.
Aside from that, I loved the sound, the vibe and the colours! Good stuff <3
