How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
It is a game about chasing money and profit, you cant win, you can only sell more carrots, sell carrots faster, and more effecient until you can no longer meet the quota. It is the idea behind capitalism that you can't win at all, just make profit until you can't
What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
We used Unity 6 (C# in visual studio code), krita. photosop
How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
Helped with code and trouble shooting

This has good potential! I feel like the initial upgrades might be too hight for a gamejam (i run into similar issues for my game too), love the art! Beautifully done!
Run into a crashing but when trying to go to the upgrade island where the game stopped working, but not sure why that happened since i visited multiple times before that crash.
Thank you for feedback! We’ve already realized that we should have gone with a simpler balance for the game jam

The art was great and charming. I gave it a few tries, and after a run with good RNG I managed to get a few upgrades before being defeated by the rock
Before I managed to get that first upgrade, my runs were decided on RNG alone, and in order to even get rolling you need some pretty good RNG, unless I missed a mechanic that allows you to somehow control these events?
It was cool to be pretty stressed about having a big pile of cash and wether or not my ship would make it before being plundered by pirates for half of what its worth, but I also didnt control these run-deciding moments. I think its a great setup, and with a little more time and a ways to control/lessen the amount of control RNG has on the game, it would be a winner.
Great entry nontheless!
Thanks a lot, for such big feedback. We know anout the rng and in such small time it was hard to balance out the
game and not to make it so easy. Still thanks !
Cool! I liked it. I was a bit confused, but that's because I didn't read the description before playing, haha.
I loved the concept and could definitely see myself enjoying it but I did have problems with a few things:
1. The upgrades cost too much and take too long to get to the island, maybe having the upgrades be cheaper initially and then scale based on how many of that upgrade you have?
2. The pirates kept stealing all my money! My timer got frozen at 1:09 so I was like "cool lemme just grind some money and buy some upgrades" but every time I had more than 50 dollars I would get spammed by pirates and lose it all on a single trip
I would really love to see this game grow! Overall great job!
Hey, thanks for the huge response! We’ve fixed some bugs, upgraded the visuals, and lowered the prices for upgrades
I liked the concept, good loop and consistent, clear art. I found a few bugs using the web version:
1.when duration reached 1:00 the timer stopped but i kept playing with most mechanics (except upgrades but i only checked that after I had more than $102 so maybe that's a separate bug)
2. Most of the UI was hidden until I clicked on the fullscreen button (from Firefox in MacOS)
PS: Good luck in the jam and if you have time please rate our game!
