Very cool. The town square was a unique setting

Loved this one!

Big Inscyption and Buckshot Roulette vibes, which I always love to see :)

Only thing of note, and I'm sure you're fully aware, I wish there was a bit of fanfare to say when you win! Aside from that though the game feels really smooth and intuitive as a turn-based card-game enjoyer :D

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing.

The initial idea was going to be very different but I figured out that the POV style would take much less time haha, so it ended up looking like those great two games!

Indeed, 2 more enemies and an end screen were the 2 high priority goals on my todo list but I ran out of time :-(

A really original idea and very fun! I think it has potential to be expanded.

As something to improve, I noticed the stats change instantly when you select a card. It’s a bit difficult to see what is exactly changing, maybe some visual indications of these would improve the game experience.

But until now this is one of the best games of the jam for me, so congratulations!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The reason why is because everything is calculated the moment you pick a card and the top left UI was meant to be debug only, ended up staying there because adding visuals for lives and bullets was low priority haha

One of the best games ? I’m blushing :o

Very High Potential if you add more stuff. Reminded me of that Buckshot Roulet game

Developer

Thanks! It does resemble it a lot haha, initially it was a different design but the POV seemed more reasonable for the alloted time

I will try to “finish” it once the jam is done, 2 more enemies and an end screen at the least

I like this game a lot. The art is really nice! I think you can release it with more cards and bandits :)

Developer

Thanks you ! I’m very glad you think so!

I love this game so much, its art is nice, there's decent strategy involved. Good Job dude

Developer

thanks, that means a lot. I spend a bit too much time on the card mechanics, they went through like 2 reworks in design and one full code rework. I’m really glad with the final design and I do think it has good potential, I just ran out of time for the rest of the game haha

I like how each card takes its own set time instead of just doing damage

Developer

thank you, i worked the hardest on the card system, but i couldn’t show it’s full value due to not having enough time for everything else haha

Really cool game! I really love the aesthetic! Though it did seem to get stuck once the bandit reached zero HP my first time around. I like the concept, the art is really nice and it fits the theme very well

Developer

Yeah, not stuck, that’s the end of the game, thanks for playing

Super fun, I wish there were levels and more opponents. It reminds me of this game we used to play in school. I can't remember the name, but you can shoot, reload or block and you're trying to shoot the other person.

Anyway, great game. Good luck with the jam.

Developer

thanks, yeah kinda like rock paper scissors!

yeah, more things were planned but i kind of got sidetracked trying to make a good card system and lost time on that

I don't know if you tested it out on your project page yet, but for me, the project can't load.. Just informing you.

Developer

Hey, thanks for the feedback, works for me and a few of my friends. What browser are you on ?

Oh I looked again, and it works. Nice game, love the idea !
