This is really well made!

The artstyle and the music captures the sad mourning vibe really well, though it doesn't match the theme I think on its own, people who love story-based games will love it if you end up making it a full complete game!

Loved this game! Not what I was expecting at all, but still amazing. The story is well written, the art is great and the music fits really well. But where was the spinning theme? Great game.

I absolutely love story-driven Japanese RPGs, and the musical atmosphere in this game is beautifully crafted. However, I was a bit confused when I switched to Simplified Chinese: only the menus are translated, while the storyline remains in English.

Very good game and I am not into story games like this but where is the theme spin used here?

I originally planned for the rotary phone to be an interactive gameplay mechanic, but unfortunately I ran out of time and couldn't finish implementing it. ( •̥́ ˍ•̀

Thanks for your comment! :D

I love the art style and the sound design/music a lot!

I feel like the writing spends a lot of time on Ryan repeatedly asking the same questions instead of trying to adapt his next attempt to be more efficient or trying to ask questions to cope better with the (probable) death of Mike.

The writing also does a big pet-peeve of mine where they take the noun of the last sentence and turn it into a question for the next dialogue, in a game jam where people play for 5 minutes, you can't waste those seconds on dialogue like that. (That and dialing takes a little too long)

But I like where this is going and would love to see a post-jam version when you release it!

This game was not what I was expecting, The art style is amazing, the music fits the theming really well and the story, although short is really deep! Only thing I wish is that you incorporated the theme more into your submission but well done!

Wow, this game was not what I was expecting. The story is pretty well written, the concept is unique and really interesting and overall this was a very fun experience.

Good work with this! It's a very straightforward experience but the music, art, mood are all on point and the story is interesting to go through.

Really cool story! Pretty simple stuff, but I think it was interesting narrative!

Im a huge fan of the classic jrpg vibes.  Would have been great to have an autoplay mode on the text so I didn't have to click as much (unless it did and I just missed that).

I like the pixel art style and the narrative. I would maybe add a few cutscenes so that players can immerse themselves more deeply in the story. Anyways, well done!

The music choice is excellent, the sounds from the rain to the phone sound real like im there.
The story gave me chills, and the pixel art is really cute.
One thing I think would make it even better is voice acting :)

I was completely invested in the story! I do think it would have been nice to see the dial at least to add to the theme, but for what the game was I did enjoy it!

Really good narrative experience. I don't have much to add since it was a fairly straightforward one, I enjoyed it though!

Really enjoyed the story and would love to see it expanded. However, the gameplay was quite one-dimensional (pretty much all I did was press a single button repeatedly) and didn't emphasize the "spin to win" theme as much as I would've liked. I think this could be a great game if you added more content and implemented some more mechanics to make it interactive.
