This game is so cute!! I loved the art and the overall theme of the game. I would've liked to see more of the theme of the jam be expressed in the game other than the wheel at the end of battles, but that is a little bit of a nitpick. Very fun!

(It doesn't say it under my username, but I made the music for Waltz of the Sapling if you want to give it a try!)

As a fellow ducker, I approve of this game! The visuals are super cute, great music, great intro, and the writing was fun! I think I did break the game a bit though and found a bug. Before starting combat, I was able to click and drag one of the item options and it would just be stuck on my cursor. At first I was able to cheese the game because of this sinceI was able to click on two wheels at the same time with one being stuck on the cursor. The final boss however taught me a lesson because I tried to have the coffee mug item that damages all enemies as the item that was stuck on my cursor; that time I was only able to click on the item stuck on my cursor but not anything on else. I was doing damage to all the enemy adds but not the boss itself as well with the coffee mug. Obviously I was not playing this as intended at this point though, but I just wanted to see how far I could go with the bug, haha.

I had fun playing this and loved checking out all the possible map locations to see what could happen. Awesome teamwork!

Congrats on your first submission as a team! Really enjoyed the artwork and how much of a storyline you were able to put together in a week. I was able to just spam items to get through enemies, until the boss, so I didn't really have a full grasp on the game until then. But I happily kept playing and liked the different interactions.

Glad the boss wasn't a total meanie and approved my PTO! :)

I loved the game. The visuals are really something. Loved the style, the vibe, all very beauitiful. The gameplay loop is very fun and the spin mechanic is well implemented. I liked how the player have to stop himself the spin of the wheels. It gives some control to the player, wich is nice. Overall a great game, nice work!

Loved the visuals and artwork in this game! Also good job on the tutorials and the inspiration from Slay the spire fit the gameplay well. At first I didn’t think the game applied the Spin to win theme very well but then I noticed that some of the ‘weapons’ spin around and do different things depending on what is landed on, which I thought was a really clever mechanic!

The game needed a full screen mode though, which I might have missed. Also manually clicking each of the weapons was tedious after a while, I’d would have love a button that I could have pressed instead. Also the last boss took a long time to beat cause he kept spawning enemies, which made things tedious as well.

Overall I enjoyed the game, good job!

Great visuals and audio. The rogue-like ness was neat and it was fun to encounter different characters and their dialog, but I kind of felt like I was just playing whack-a-mole with the different items, and not really making any strategic choices. Was able to beat the game though :). Perhaps if the systems where more automatic and every now and then they have a moment of "jackpot" play that has you do a little mini-game to preform a better version. I think part of it was just missing feedback for the actions happening.  Good job.

Awesome representation but I'm kind of just hitting buttons as quickly as possible, doesn't feel like there's much strategizing despite the obvious sts inspiration. Cool game nonetheless

This game explores some very dark themes like going to your boss and asking for time off. Something I wasn't ready to be confronted with. However, it's executed beautifully and the surprise twist at the end really hit me emotionally. The struggles of office ducks are real and society continues to ignore them.

(I didn't manage to hit the special bar once during my playthrough :(

I was not expecting Slay the Spire meet ducks but here I am! Quick thoughts:

- Art is charming and really nice, you guys clearly put a lot of effort into building all the world and it shows!

Major concern would be:

- Having so many items/weapons sprinkled through the gameplay makes it hard to remember what each of them do. Plus, activating them is just one click away so what ended up happening in gameplay is I just had to spam each of them as much as possible

I think the game design could use revisiting but the presentation itself is quite nice!

Great game! A lot of love went into this, and it shows. Managed to put in my PTO request.

This is such an amazing game! I can tell you put a lot of passion into this The art looks amazing, and the idea is very good and very serious!

I didn’t get very far but I’ll probably try to beat it again later. It’s a bit too difficult for me

This has potential to be a full game someday honestly
