How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
- There are a few platformer elements in the game. You can: sprint, jump, roll, wall run, and wall jump.
What theme does this game use? also explain how you implemented the theme
- Metamorphosis: You are a slime that eats consumables which makes you bigger. Using sprint makes you smaller
- Speedrunning: The game is designed to be a skill-based "go fast" type of game, and we believe this game can be played multiple times to improve your time
Did you use any AI or PREMADE assets in this game?
- AI: No
- Premade Assets: We added some premade sound effects and music samples, however all of them have been edited with SFX layering, audio effects, such as: EQs, Reverbs, etc.

I played on browser. Lag was a little annoying but manageable. Sometimes level 1 would freeze at the beginning (not from lag), and I had to do the "reload game" option. Also, sometimes I wouldn't die to the death pits and was forced to restart level. The dev times may have been fake, but I had some fun grinding until I beat them all with a time just under 1 minute. Overall, very fun game!
I'm really happy you were able to get the times beat! (Mine for sure wasn't accurate because I am 100% not a platform-game-player. I super appreciate you reviewing and taking the time to play!
So I downloaded it but It lagged badly so I wasnt really able to get a fun experience
I have decided not to leave a rating at this time. While it took the better part of a minute to get from the menu screen to the game (which is fine, because GODOT was involved), the game started up just fine. However, WASD did not work for me, at all. I tried full screen, I tried CAPS LOCK, I tried Shift + WASD. Nothing worked, so I was stuck at the very beginning of the game.
And no, I am not downloading it. I can tell you, right now, my system cannot play it. That is why I went with browser-only games when choosing what to review.
I appreciate your effort, for sure, but it is something I cannot play. Sorry.
Thanks for trying it out at least! I would have to blame the lighting on this one, I didn't realize how heavy the lighting can be for browser games
Unfortunate, it is. It's good to see it was working as well as it was. I had no issues moving the camera around, but I don't why WASD was not working at all.
Good game, controlls are a bit hard to get used to, but once you get it it becomes a really fun experience! Good job!
Appreciate the browser option, but ya had to download to play legit. Fun speed-puzzle game. I appreciated the slow-easy hard-fast routes had to go back and try out both once I was better. Took me a bit to figure out the character movement, but I was engaged when I did. Good job.
Thank you for the feedback!

Really cool concept, the slime is quite cute too, but it is a bit laggy
Sorry, our browser version honestly sucks, it's due to the dynamic lighting, I'd recommend downloading it instead
Thank you for your recommendation, it certainly feel less laggy, I really enjoy it
I really appreciate it!!
