I like its amorphous, goal-less structure. For me, it becomes a piece of experimental, non-linear literature—a fractured, semi-abstract narrative that the player/reader has to piece together on their own. And I think that's definitely a good thing!
I'm not sure that the actual content resonates with me personally all that much, but I definitely appreciate the search for a new form.
More mechanical depth, greater complexity, and more varied interactions would certainly be interesting. But simply writing more texts and expanding the world extensively is a perfectly valid direction too imo.
The cold, clean "web" aesthetic initially put me off, but then I found the contrast between it and the rough, abrasive writing really interesting—it adds a lot of value. Hmm, maybe it would be cool to push the content even further? Make it harsher and more disturbing the deeper the player ventures into the game's world? Like the checklist written on a piece of meat, but turned up to eleven?
Really apreciate your support dont worry i fixed most stuff in the sequel "another another"
This was.... very interesting to say the least! I don't know if something wasn't working on my end, but I didn't see any mixed media in the game aside from the cover image (which is fantastic, by the way!) - everything else seemed to be made of spinning bisexual gradients or little icons that looked like they were drawn digitally, or text.
I really enjoyed speaking to all the entities... "another" made me laugh often, and I think I collected all the objects in my voidpocket? but after I'd been everywhere and talked to everyone, I couldn't find any other place to go. I was half-expecting a message to pop up in the log on the bottom right, so I could type it in somewhere and reveal another layer of realities to explore. (Kind of like "Welcome to the Game", if you've ever seen or played that.) I couldn't actually do anything with any of the items I collected either - so I might of just been missing something. Either way, I had fun - and you definitely have a knack for writing short, funny dialogue. Thumbs up!
I know i am willing to make a sequel of the game called "another another" with a lot of characters and (sadly) i couldn't make it have a mixed media
also the thumbnail you see in the game is by my freind RPRETURN a great photo designer for me (he took 3 days to make the title)
Another Another will contain some few characters from the first game and some new characters ( the game will have a lot of characters, like A LOT OF THEM, and it will take make new worlds new items long form dialogs and an ending)
It might get released this month or next one (basically might get released this summer)
Rather than quantity? I'd personally spend time trying to add more complexity. Have the items actually do something rather than just being for the sake of collecting, leave clues as to how to progress in the characters responses, etc. Make it have some kind of progression, where you have to hunt for the way forward ^_^ (at least, that's my two cents!!)
