How does your game use the Fake Update theme?
Wizard Catcher is a PSX-style horror game. You wake in a strange abandoned world with only a mage tower standing there. As you explore the world, you get to meet a mage who asks you to help him. Then during your travels, your friend texts you out of nowhere with words kind of like: "Update the game. Here's the link." The link looks strange. Curious, you try to download the update and an error appears. After the update you start the game again and something is off.

Controls
W,A,S,D - walk
E - interact with objects/NPC's by default
Escape - Pause the game

Content warnings
This game contains horror elements, including creepy visuals, unsettling sound design, and psychological tension. It does not contain jump scares.
