This was so cute! I loved that the little guys played a song together. I did find it a little difficult to "plan out" a puzzle in my head beforehand, which I think is really just a result of the mechanic itself. Maybe it would have been nice to have had a couple puzzles that were just one shape, to get used to the idea of using blocking objects to find the correct position, then a couple puzzles with the other shape to show that different shapes behave differently, and only after that getting puzzles with both of them. I really enjoyed this though, and the puzzles were clever. I loved that the triangle could climb onto the square, but not the other way around, made for some really fun puzzling consequences to explore. And you even added some extra, optional puzzles at the end like I did with my game! Love it :)
Such a cute puzzle game. 😀
It would be nice to have a short "you did it" sequence before transitioning to the next stage. It's a bit jarring when I get to the right place and the screen suddenly redraws. But I like the puzzle concept and it's a great use of those Kenney assets.
The game is cool, but the mouse dragging feels a bit hard to use. I did like the art style though, very cute
I love the mechanics and the level designs! But the mouse dragging control is kinda frustrating to me, tbh! Overall, nice job!
Thanks for the feedback!
I picked it because it was hard to otherwise convey which direction the characters would go after a keypress, but in hindsight i could have added keyboard inputs as an alternative option
(Also, implementation wise I only detected drags once the mouse leaves the character hitbox, which means small drags within the hitbox fail to register, also something id change to help the game feel)
The sounds are really satisfying! What a fun game! Great job for the time given :DD
This was such a fun and creative game :D it definitely gets tricky in the later levels
i really liked the sound of moving the characters around !! very satisfying... Some very creative use of the puzzle mechanics towards the end as well! Nice job
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked these details :D
