I was able to defeat the angry yellow/orange ball first try! The movement felt wonky at first but once i realized how it works it felt pretty cool! Great work!

Thank you! :D

Love the music and effects. Wish the mechanics were clearer though

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. For my next jam, I'll try to make the mechanics clearer.

cool concept! i was a bit unsure how i would deal damage or be dealt damage, but luckily i was able to win both rounds so it didn't feel too bad haha

the gameplay was cool though and felt like a very chaotic pinball game (sorta), cute faces and spin effect on the title screen!

congrats on your first game and good job!!

Developer

I have been getting a lot of complaints on how to deal damage and that the controls are not very stated, but I will fix them in my next jam. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hey ! I dont really get how i can deal damage and when i will take damages !
Can you give more more explaination ? I'll try again !

Developer

you deal damage based on how fast you move into the enemy, i didnt really know how to implement this so it is very weird. At this point its just like a chance you get hit or the enemy gets hit..

Landing hits is super satisfying but it's very chaotic haha.

That music on the title screen is real good tho.

Developer

thanks! :)

I honestly had no idea what was going on or what the parameters for me damaging the enemy vs them damaging me but it was definitely fun! I think with a good amount of work this could be a great concept for a game.

thanks :)

i may work on it more after this jam to polish it more

I think something as simple as having a glow around the enemy and the player based on speed so you know when you're moving with more velocity would help determine the hit threshold a little better. I really like the idea though and think there are a few ways you can make it work
