Capturing invaders

How to do that?

i think you have to lower the invader's mind first, but it's only worked once for me, mainly because they break out very fast and then one shot me

drop their health to zero first, then capture with spell or cuffs. fail = death of enemy, success = new servant

Success actually results in a new captive & that's provided you have room in your Jail or Throne Room to keep them; they aren't servants until you get them to join you.

you can capture them without bringing their health completely to zero, however it is based on random chance. sometimes they escape, sometimes they are captured. if they escape while at zero health, they just die

The other option is if you have a Graveyard, you can store the body after they die, then reanimate them as a zombie using the Altar.  This tends to be a bit expensive in the beginning, but it's a good alternative to just having them die & not being able to use them as servants when a capture fails.

Of course you have a couple other options you can do with corpses if you are running low on resources.  You can scrap them for meat, as well as sell the corpses if you have the Trade Market placed in your dungeon.

Actually the cost of reanimation is directly tied to their value. If you wait until their traits are super undesirable in the market, the reanimation is dirt cheap. You can also just sell the body and rebuy it again from the market and the person will just be alive again with no zombification but its not cheap at all

Nice trick!  I noticed that selling corpses would have them show up in the slave market afterwards, just didn't realize it would remove the zombification from them.  Good to know & I appreciate the tip.

Although I will say that having them as zombies does have it's perks.  Like the fact that they don't need to eat anything & this saves some of the trouble of if you can't keep enough food in stock for those that do need to eat.
