It's a good game with the gears and spinning... but I think difficulty level was abit high XD.

I couldn't stop though.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed :)

Nice puzzle game! The puzzles and mechanics were smart and easy-to-understand. :D

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Very cool, very fleshed out game! Wasn't expecting so many levels! Couldn't finish every single one sadly, my brain is too smooth for that xD

Developer

Thank you :)

The concept is really cool, and it feels really polished! Love how the music changes depending on if you're in game or learning a new mechanic! I had some difficulty telling some blocks apart, but overall I had a lot of fun with this game. Good job!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you noticed the music changing, I was worried it would be a little too subtle. Differentiating the blocks is a common comment, I appreciate the feedback, if I do a revised version after the jam I think I'll stylise them much more distinctly.

Great concept and execution. The puzzles are cool and the visual theme fits perfectly. I think the coloration on the blocker tiles could be adjusted to make it clearer what blocks what. Loved the sound the crank makes when you turn it, very clicky!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, and thankyou for the feedback, the blockers could definitely use a little more care. Fun fact, the crank clicking is actually a tick from the clock sped up and pitch shifted a bunch.

Absolute peak, i got hooked for almost an hour trying to figure how to complete the levels (and i couldn't even complete the game lol). It is a really difficult game but very very fun to play. Good job!

I'm touched you enjoyed it that much, that means the world, thank you :)

I love the idea of having the gears exist on different layers. I also made a game about gears and for me it was really difficult to find a good way to implement compound gears, so I really appreciate how you handled it here. It’s real clever. Great work here!

Thankyou very much! Having just played yours I find it so cool to see how many of the same choices we made about things like UI layout and level design, we must've been in very similar headspaces during development :D

This one had me absolutely captivated.  It seemed so simple at first but before long I was scratching my head trying to figure out exactly how to solve some of the levels.

Developer

The best outcome we could ask for, thank you :)

Very satisfactory feel. Puzzle games are not for me but I really enjoyed it anyways. Great sound design!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, we had a lot of fun with the sound design :)

I really enjoyed playing the game, It was a really fun puzzle mechanic! Difficulty ramped up quickly but I dont think that was a bad thing! Only thing I wish is that it was easier to tell which way a gear was going to spin without having to go back to the knob. I spent alot of time doing a layout, realizing it didnt spin the right direction and repeating that process :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! The direction indicator is a great idea, I think the logical step would be to have a subtle direction arrow appear on the gears as the mechanism builds up? Appreciate the feedback :)
