The game told me "bad", i don't know if I played it properly.
For your age and being your first game jam it's pretty good!!!
Keep going, you are going to be a big developer!!!

The game did'nt work for me, and i couldnt work out how to make it fullscreen. good job with the concept tho i love lawn mowers
I was a bit confused how the arrow keys made the lawn mover move, but I think for your age you made something you should be very proud of :)
Was a little confused but I got the hang of the game! I envy the fact that you are 13 and already starting to make games! Keep up the good work and practice those skills, I look forward to seeing your next jam game!
Not bad! I like the idea of spinning up the lawn mower just right. My best advice would be to have a serviceable menu, or menu functionality like a start/restart button so players know when the game is starting. Otherwise, this is a great start! Keep at it!
I like it! It took me a bit to understand that I was winding up the lawn mower, I thought the screen with the count down on it was some sort of tutorial screen and that I would have to do what it was telling me after it went away, so maybe a separated tutorial screen with a more detailed explanation would help here. Of course, a restart function would be awesome too, and remember not to neglect audio as that helps provide a lot of information for the player! Overall I really liked it, and I thought it was a really creative interpretation of the theme. Great job on your first jam!!
I'm not really sure how to play the game honestly... Probably skill issue :(
first, NEVER upscale pixel art THAT much, never mix pixel sizes, second, add sound/music it's very important.
third if you are like me and you hate to draw, you can ask for help, make a team or use pre-made assets like kenney's assets.
Good luck kid!
