Really enjoyed this and the interpretation of the spinning. I wish there was more gameplay, but the experience was good overall. Well done on your first jam!
Thank you!
Very unique take on the theme. I liked that the music cut out as you got closer to the characters, that definitely made the moment feel more serious. For a first game made in 7 days this is some good work! :)
Hello, thanks for your comment, qctually I don't know why the audio is like that, it's a design flaw, but somehow it worked out for the better 😁 thankyou for your kindness..
Probably the most serious one I have rated so far. I really liked the artwork and thought the audio supported the game well.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, when i found this track, it clicked for me, nice that you think so too!
It was a really cool exploration of the theme, and I wish it used gameplay a bit more to deepen its theme.
thanks for the review!
Love the deeper interpretation of the theme rather than just on a gameplay level. If you continue working on this I think the actual thoughts swirling around the characters as text rather than just particles could be very cool :)
Great job!
Thanks for taking your preciuos time for this! Yes, this is a good idea, thanks. Nice that you appreciated the idea, have a nice jam!
Congrats on your first game jam! :) I really loved the deep meaning behind the experience. For some reason, I especially liked how long it took to reach each character while reading their thoughts. My personal interpretation was that sometimes accompanying someone through that kind of despair could be a quiet, reflective, and lengthy journey. And sometimes all they need is you to just be there. Whether intentional or not, I thought that was beautifully conveyed <3
Thanks for kind words! I'm glad you liked it. I wanted so a person playing could interpret in their own way, so I'm happy, that people could find something for themselves or for people they care about, such a cool opportunity to meet nice people on this jam! Take care!
What a lovely message <3 I wish there was more dialogue scattered around! I enjoyed reading the bits and pieces that were there. I think I got to the end, but I'm not sure because there was no win screen. Good job on this!
Thank you for kind words! Yes you've made it! I've only was able to finish this much. Thanks for checking my first game out!
I really enjoyed your game. Hope you and your friends are doing ok tho xd
Thanks! I hope too :D
Extremely serious. I really appreciate the story you went for here. You nailed the atmosphere which is pretty important for a game like this. Only thing I’d suggest is to maybe cut a bit of the dead space at the end of the song. It gets a bit awkward without music for too long.
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you think that. Yeah, so i think it's some kind of error, because it shoul be just a nonstop loop, bus sometimes it cuts off I don't know why. So that's one of the things I should fix, thanks for playing!
Big congratulations on finishing your very first game jam! For a first project, choosing a serious and deep topic like this is a very bold and awesome move. The overall atmosphere and vibes are great, and the room with the mirrors/reflections was a really neat and well-implemented touch!
Also, huge props for fixing the web build after the deadline-that's a true developer spirit! If I had to give a tiny bit of feedback, adding some atmospheric sound effects (SFX) and a bit more closure dialogue at the end would really help to make the emotional impact even stronger. But overall, it's a very neat and meaningful experience, great job! 🤍🏫✨
wow, really glad you enjoyed it, thanks for supportive feedback, youre right! I knew i couldve made some gameplay loop, but i wanted an emotional story more. Actually one comment encouraged me to fix it for the deadline, so every bit of kindness matters here i guess, thanks again!
I liked how the pacing let you really think about stuff. It might be beneficial to make it clear what kind of game it is at the start because I was busy thinking about what the 'core' mechanic was instead of the message which is what I think you were going for. Really good for your first game though! Look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future!
thank you, yeah maybe i needed to add something at the start, to prepare the mind of the viewer. I hope to do something more in the future, thanks for constructive feedback!
I don’t know the full story but perhaps this game is about anxiety or bullying. You might need to add invisible walls between the characters so they don’t clip through each other… Congratulations on your first game jam! 🙂🔥
thanks for playing! I tried to make it vague, so people could insert their own version if the story. But yeah, i wanted, but ran out of time. Thanks for your comment, everyone is so supportive and friendly !
Neat game, dig the vibes, esp for a first game jam project. I reached the end after talking to the three classmates (I think after the teleport back to the class). I think some closure dialogue would've really helped the understanding of the end. Good stuff!
Thanks for a supportive comment! Glad you've made it to the end, there was a plan to do it, but ran out of time, have a nice jam!
It's a very cute game. It's really cool for a first game jam project, but I didn't quite understand what was going on, so I think that could be improved. Also, the game is really lacking in SFX
Thanks for your comment! Yeah, maybe it was ambitious to make a first game walking simulator, where there is less dialogue, i wanted to make it so environment would tell a story, but yeah i didnt make it in time. The main things are, that you help your friends, you stay with them, and in the end, everything is the same, but a little better, because you share the pain together, even yours. Thanks for checking it out!
Neat concept! I got to the end (I think?), after absorbing the souls of those people and walking into the teleporter thing. Great job finishing your first jam. I liked the mirror/reflection room- that was a neat idea and was implemented well
thank you! This jam was a big experience for me, i hope everyone enjoys it as i do! Thanks for positivity, i appreciate that somebody understood some seriousness..
The classroom beginning and kinda fading out to go on a quest reminds me of Shin Megami Tensei, and I LOVE SMT games. Also, love the seriousness and tone and the creativity. Wish I could go faster but I understand that's part of the experience. And this was a good experience.
Wow, this is probbably biggest compliment ever, thanks.. i was inspired that week, by twenty one pilots - at the risk of feeling dumb. I like serious topics, they are about life. Have a nice jam!
I didn't know what was happening, but it drew me in to learn more about it. Big congrats on your first game jam!
thanks man, i really appreciate it! I was hoping to make a game, where you motice your friends are sad, and you try to comfort them, you stay with them to share their pain with you, and at the end, you all together share and endure together, only animations and transitions were borked in web export, but oh well, thanks for your comment
You can still give it a try; arrangements can be made up to 24 hours late!
Thanks! I forgot about it!
actually i managed to fix it, thanks for your encouragement!
