The art is amazing especially the player sprites! I like the music quite a bit too. And the gimmick of the game is pretty unique.  I will say its very annoying to fail a spin and have to redo several minutes of very difficult parkour but I came to realise that you should just never spin the wheel until it's 100% guaranteed. It would be nice if there was more of a reason to spin the wheel without resetting everything as a punishment.

As for the gameplay, I think the spike hitboxes are maybe a bit too punishing but other than that I had a lot of fun! I like how each zone slowly ramps up in both difficulty and mechanics, and I loved the mechanic where you swap the block colour. That mechanic really shined especially in level 3 so well done with that.  My only other feedback is minor and it's just to tweak some things like adding a dash sfx and adding a hitbox in the bottom corner of screen 1 level 1. Overall it was a great time and I can't wait to see what you cook up in the Brainless Jam!

I honestly love the game especially the art ! I usually draw low res like 16x16 or 32x32 but im trying to check your style out !

any tips and recc? and what canvas size do u use?

Developer(+1)

thanks!
i use 32x32 pixels per tile with a 2p brush, with an xp pen table

other than that i honestly just freestyle until i get something that works, i might also use a basic skeleton for complex animations

I actually got the secret ending where I immediately escaped the first time I played 😎

I absolutely love how the character is animated here! Amazing entry

This kept me hooked for a solid 10 minutes, and I have a very short attention span. The most enjoyable game so far!

The character is adorable and the animations are great! Sadly, I had to ragequit after never managing to get to the end of the first cave because of the spike from the wall. It's not my type of game so that is mostly on me. ^^ Visuals is your best category! Nice submission! :D

This is sad, because the next levels had more different mechanics based on spinning.

Yeah, really sad. :( I really did give it a lot lot lot of attempts. :/
