Submission Description
Heavily influenced by Guilty Gear, but not quite reaching its level, I created these audio tracks for a fighting game with Rock, Heavy Metal, and other crazier and more relaxed themes.

In the near future: An artificial intelligence seizes control of the "New Pentagon,"

the most heavily armed military building in the world after the Third World War. Around the Earth, seven enormous entities emerge, each with their own distinct objectives, vying for control and aiming to eliminate the AI.

The Chosen One is a mecha created by the Western faction of America. Piloted by a young man named David, it seeks to reclaim for his nation the historic building they created.

Erick Bhana was a scientist from the Euro-Eastern faction who lost control of an experiment that transformed him into a gigantic Kaiju at will. He enters enemy territory in his human form to infect an AI with a virus and control it for his country.

A strange entity, seemingly extraterrestrial, appears on the battlefield

The Sino-Asian faction built the world's largest autonomous drone with AI that rivals Western systems. Retaking the hijacked military building is a priority to demonstrate their supremacy.

Paula was born in a neighborhood of old Galicia Spain, who was possessed by the spirits of the "Santa compañia" who see the taking of the "new pentagon" as a symbol of destruction and death. When these spirits unite, they can form an enormous entity that rivals other fighters.

A veteran engineer, August Matro, who designed the "new Pentagon" and was branded a madman and confined to a junkyard, created a mecha from scrap parts using his own resources. He vowed to reclaim the building, his career, and his honor.

The space entity Gatuna is looking for seven cats with attitude to form the great cat-zort and be able to control it with their feline powers.

After defeating the other factions, the winner first faces the defenses of the "New Pentagon." The building can transform into a gigantic mecha that seems to easily crush its enemy.

Upon defeating it, they discover that in the command center, instead of a computer or virus, there is a little girl. She is AiV, who reveals herself to be an artificial intelligence in a human body. Driven mad by her inability to manage her emotions, she attacks them with a gigantic hologram and laser drones while she buys time to rebuild parts of the building.

After destroying the hologram, another gigantic mecha appears, called the "Chimera," which seems completely invincible, while the poor AiV descends into madness.

Depending on who wins, an exclusive ending will be revealed.

Later on, I hope to deliver some covers for each song.

nice job on all of these songs! i really liked “HISTORY MODE” in particular. i like the panning of instruments in that song as well as it’s general vibe. i can definitely tell there was a lot of creativity and talent put into each one of these songs, and they all tie well into the theme :D

I appreciate your comment.  I did "history mode" very suddenly in one afternoon and it was very experimental without knowing if it would work but I see that it was liked.  I'm glad you enjoy it.

Wow, what a hard hitter you have here! Goodness! I love the heavy metal, it fits perfectly with your theme and story! And well done on the story! The music really reflects the journey.  "Finals" is by far my favorite song of the group! It smacks! Great work here.

Only thing I would consider changing up is varying the instrument use and maybe using some dynamics like quiet and such (I am guilty of not doing the same so don't take it to hard). The drums were great. The kicks were good. and the electric instruments perfect. Plus the vocals, that was pretty cool. Solid work here.

Hello, I am very grateful for your comments.  I admit that I stayed in my comfort zone as far as instruments are concerned and in the future or another revision of it I should experiment more.  Thank you again for your feedback.

"Finals" is my favorite track. You did a great job bringing each track closer to the different phases of the game. Maybe I missed a song that was more memorable or that really evokes the game specifically, I don't know, hehe, it's very personal in the end. But I would tell you that in "Old Trash," that guitar touch... I think you have something there. Great job!

thanks for your comment.  I'm thinking about giving myself time to work on improving some topics with your suggestions and opinions.  They have been very valuable.

I enjoyed a lot of the programmed drums and the inclusion of eerie vocal samples throughout the project. I also appreciate the flow between tracks and how it matches the narrative of the game.  I think that the drums could've had more variation within their respective songs but I loved all the creativity on display!

Favorite tracks: INTRO, BIRD

I thank you very much for your comment.  This was a very learning project, and I am glad that in general you are enjoying it.  Although I could still adjust some things.

Hello. I listened to all of your tracks, and I really enjoyed the story behind the album. I could definitely feel the connection between the music and the narrative, and everything felt cohesive.

I'm not usually a fighting game player, but I can absolutely imagine some of these tracks being used in that kind of game. Your album also has a strong retro indie vibe ...it even reminded me a little of games like Underttale.

One thing I might experiment with is adding a bit more variety to the instrumentation. For example, letting the melodies move between different instruments from time to time could help keep the music fresh during repeated listening, which is especially important in a fighting game where tracks can loop many times.

Overall, I really enjoyed listening to your work. It brought back memories of spending time in arcade games. Thanks for sharing your music!

Hello, I very much appreciate your feedback and comments.  Having my work valued like this helps me want to improve.  I still have a lot left.  Thank you again.

This is an amazing submission! First of all, you found a way to work a meow synth in which is really amazing, second, the rock and focus on drums and bass really hammers down the style you were trying to convey, and finally, amazing story, really well thought out, and fits the theme perfectly. (As you can probably guess, I gave correlation to theme 5 stars) I think there are a few changes you could make, like making some sections less repetitive like in The Chosen One.

My favorite tracks are: History Mode, Miau Miau, and Final Boss 3 Phases AiV

Firstly, I'm a big proponent of percussive instrumentation so that's a big plus from me. It's prevalent throughout much of the soundtrack. I personally enjoy the instrumental range and variety in your soundtrack. One thing I will say is while I personally very much enjoy the vocal samples used in tracks like E.S.P., I'm not sure how it would translate in a game setting. Furthermore, while it may have been a creative choice, I feel some layering or more fleshing out of certain sections would level up a soundtrack I already genuinely enjoy. Fave tracks: INTRO,  FINAL BOSS 3 PHASES "AiV" and FINALS.
