[Art] Looking for pixel artists for my platformer game

I’m working on a 2D platformer called Aftergravity, where the core mechanic is that gravity flips every few seconds, shifting the entire world between two states (normal + inverted/dark world).

The game features floating island environments made of ruins, with a strong focus on movement and environmental transitions rather than combat-heavy gameplay.

I’m currently looking for help with small, focused pixel art contributions, such as:

  • Parallax background layers (floating skies / island silhouettes)

  • Player sprites (animation)

  • Modular tiles for floating islands and ruins

  • Simple environmental props / sprites

This is a voluntary hobby collaboration, not paid work, but full credit will be given in-game and in project listings.

hi, you don't said nothing about music, so, i will presume that you still don't have a composer, I am a composer interested in working whith you, i like to compose atmospheric music, if you are interested, i think something like my songs the tape and before the Tape might fit well in you project

Hey Luca,

I’ve listened to some of your music and it fits the vibe of my game really well. I already have a composer, but I’d still be happy to include anything you’d like to contribute as well.

Just to be clear, this would be a voluntary collaboration for now since the project isn’t funded yet, but if the game does end up making sales later on, I’d be more than happy to properly compensate you for your work.

Let me know what you think!
