SO MUCH POLISH AND SO CREATIVE FOR THE LIMITATIONS OF THE HARDWARE!!!
For real though, amazing game, especially for such little time. I will follow along for more! :D
Thank you! I'm glad to know you really enjoyed it!💜
This is a super nice game! I love the Gameboy aesthetic, it's quite charming. The gameplay is simple, but fun to master. The multiple endings were nice, as they increased replay ability. I managed to get 56 points in the end, Amazing job!
Thank you for your kind words. And congrats on getting 56 points, so you was able to see the Good Ending!😊
Wow. You did a great job. I was only (barely) able to get a game play loop going, but you have a whole story in it as well. I also liked how you incorporated the tutorial in the story and have multiple endings based on your score. The highest I got was 28. You knocked it out!
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad to know you enjoyed it!😊
This was so cute! Only being able to rotate in one direction is a really interesting idea, it made aiming really fun. It would be cool if you could aim 8 directions instead of only the four cardinal directions, might make it more challenging and allow more room for it to get increasingly difficult as time goes on. I also loved that you managed to translate it into multiple languages. Great job!
Thank you for your comment and for your recommendation! After the Jam is over, I'll investigate how to implement 8 movement directions :D
So good! Beautiful pixel art, cute story and I really liked the gameplay! Just a great game!
Thank you so much! Your game is also pretty good!^^
This Game has the best Storytelling in the Jam.
I don't consider my game has a great storytelling, but thank you! I'm glad to know you enjoyed it!💜
Really amazing game, one of the most polished I've played during this jam! Very creative spin (HAHA I'M SO FUNNY!!) on the theme and fitting gameplay to it! My oooonly complaint was that I got 42 points on my second attempt, expecting a special ending since the winning ending was just called "Normal ending", making me think there was a special ending if that makes sense? I'm guessing the other ending is just the losing ending tho, but I was hoping there would be a special one for getting a super high score. (Maybe 42 isnt super high, what do I know). Either way, great game and super impressive in a week!
Thank you so much for playing my game and for your kind words. And yes, my game has 3 endings: bad ending, getting a score less than 21; normal ending, getting a score between 21-49; and good ending if you get a score of at least 50. For now I was able to get 63 points. But seeing the ending isn't important. The most thing is what I wanted to tell in this game: to have a positive mindset, even if you are having a bad day. In any case, I don't consider my game super impressive. Your game really is super impressive and one of the most creative games I've played so far!💜
The game is so good , but I have one question.
How did you do all of that in 7 days ?!
I'm happy to know you enjoyed it!💜 As for your question, I was developing the game from 12 to 15 hours every day because I didn't have to do anything xD Also, I had a general idea about what I wanted to create for this game after knowing the game's theme, so I focused in that idea and I guided my game development from that. But to be honest, I feel my game is extremely short.
Anyways, thank you for posting, and definitely your game is also super amazing. Good job!😊
The story mode was cute and well scripted. The battle music goes hard! The battle mechanics are interesting, simple yet difficult to go fast.
I'm glad to know you liked the game!😊
Really nice visuals, I love the Game Boy art style. The core mechanic is simple but fits the theme well! Multiple languages too, which I haven’t seen in many other jam games.
Thanks for your comment! I tried to make a simple mini game, but at the same time a bit challenging. Also, I love the art style of your game! :3
Really beautiful art and astethic!
Thank you! I tried to do the best I could to feel like an authentic GameBoy game!💜
I absolutely loved that, SO MUCH! The retro feel, the sounds and music, the lovely art, everything felt so perfect. Even the spinning charged attacks felt really good! My highest score was only 36 and got the Normal Ending! This was such a great experience and an amazing game, Fantastic Job!!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for playing my game! I'm happy to know you enjoyed it!💜 Your game is also fantastic, btw! :3
Love the GameBoy aesthetic and the art, gameplay is a cool interpretation of the theme and soundtrack fits very well. Just all around a good game!
Thank you so much! I'm glad to know you enjoyed the game!😊
I loooooove the gameboy color aesthetic (I'm a big fan of link's awakening)!!! It's amazing to see how well you managed to replicate it with the visuals, music, even the aspect ratio... just perfect presentation! It's such a super cool take on the theme as well, and I thought that using the background as a "charge" indicator was super cleve! Very fitting for the game, and quite Earthbound-esque :b
Y qué chulo ver un juego en catalán, BONA FEINA!!!
Thank you so much for your comment, Torknulf!😊 The game is, in fact, a real GameBoy game, so it even should be possible to run on real hardware.
Y me alegra saber que te ha gustado que tenga multilenguaje. Moltes gràcies!💜
