lot o games in here, pretty soon people gonna be calling this the Federx 50. that was the first time i ever cleared a board in minesweeper, pretty tight. unfortunately tetris was super fucked up for me, rotate would just 180 the piece and hard drop would drop 2 at once. soft drop didnt work at all for me. really cool game and always glad to hear the sultry tones of todd howard
- The window UI behaves as expected. Minimizing, maximizing, and running multiple programs simultaneously is pretty cool.
- For A(P)ONGKEN, it looks like if I have multiple windows open and click a different window so it loses focus, the game pauses. That makes sense, but neither clicking the desktop nor minimizing the window causes it to lose focus. Seems like a minor inconsistency, though perhaps that's accurate window logic.
- The forward button in the media player seems to skip very close to the end of the song, which feels like a pointless function since there's already a next/previous track button. The back button just restarts the song. The media player also lacks the ability to seek through songs, so if I accidentally skip ahead, I lose my place.
- Can't recycle folders.
- None of the Internet Explorer webpages loaded for me.
- Can't delete bookmarks.
- There doesn't seem to be a way to restore the Windows XP background without doing a complete reset.
- The "My Computer" section doesn't seem to do anything. The agdgOS-tan is cute though.
All in all, this feels more like a neat toy project than a traditional game, so I'd consider most of my critiques to be nitpicks rather than major issues. I had fun poking around and seeing what was implemented.
tl;dr quite charming and pretty impressive collection, not really sure what the intent is other than just a celebration of agdg but i could see it being a great framework for other games like hypnospace outlaw
most of the vid is just me struggling in minesweeper, don't give it much attention
i thought you were meant to move kings to empty cells in solitaire, couldn't
the 3d app was really glitchy for me i think because i double clicked it; I actually double clicked apps a lot and it opens two of them; anyway the 3d app glitched out a bit couldnt really see my cursor or anything but it was neat seeing a 3d app in something like this
I can't move the King to a free column in solitaire. I spent ages trying to beat it without that but I think it's impossible
Also I made 2 folders with the exact same name in windows, immersion ruined!
I like the idea and I love how the OS looks. Would be cool to see what else you do with it, I think it would be nice it it became more than just a collection of minigames but this is still nice

Good to see you back.

An interesting exercise. I'll be waiting for the inevitable AGDG Linux distro.
Keep up the good work.
