omg i did not get to finish the game, i unlocked the next room with the other wheel (crazy parkour btw, kinda hard) and saw the price, immediately died bc no food. but other than that, the game is absolutely amazing. this needs to be shown on the juniper dev VIDEO. even if not, great game. if another jam ever comes along. another game would be great. awesome game!
yeah the hunger system could have been better. the parkour was done to test the movement system
I liked it, but I am wondering if you packaged the game with a debug build or something? I also loved my cube steak.
As someone else who did their game in Unreal, I am impressed by your lighting, I don't know what the heck I'm doing with lighting and my whole game is weirdly lit whereas yours feels right for your game.
when you say debug what do you mean by that. this is a very barebones project
I saw some messages while playing that looked like they were from unreal. Or maybe graphics messages?
that is strange could have been from the lighting
also for the lighting its just placement of it. i used standard spot lights and point light. its very close to how blender uses lighting so id recommend playing around with lighting in blender to help under stand how things work.
I was creeped out the entire time in a good way. Well done
thank you for this. that was the intension.
Really janky, but I can't help, but love it anyway for how weird it is. It clearly has a lot of heart and there's something really charming about it. Keep learning and making stuff!
yeah the physics and animations were learnt on the spot.
was not able to run because of windows firewall.. Im glad you've learned something, its still a big step for the journey, keep it up!
yeah its just because i put 5,000,000 viruses in it. nah but its because im not a known publisher its goofy like that lol.
