Magical & cute!
Thank you!
Super cute, and very impressive for your first game! Hope you make more witchy stuff in the future :D
Thank you!
Cute lil game, and satisfying sounds
Thanks!
Really nice game, didn't think I could enjoy something like this when it's gameplay "only" consists of running around and spamming the space bar. Really liked the art (and, above all, the music), but I think a few effects (vhs-like memory loss / memory corruption) could really add to the atmosphere and horror elements.
(Also, I wanted to add that the game map has the *perfect* size, you feel kind of overwhelmed, but not too much, so that's really cool)
Have a nice day :3
Thanks for the kind words! Corruption effects sound like a really cool idea - I think it would really well with the background shifting. Maybe if the eyes started to be replaced with realistic images too? I'm glad you enjoyed!
really enjoyed this, loved the artstyle music and the gameplay loops. got a score of 343 at the end.
thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
cute game, i especially love the witch she is so cute! got to a score of 202, the game very quickly goes from easy to manage to almost impossible to keep up with which i quite like!
thanks for the kind words! My original goal was to add upgrades to match the scaling difficulty put y'know short on time and stuff. I had to settle with a more arcade style, high score game. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I really liked the gameplay loop, which was simple, fun, and engaging. The music and artstyle really went along together nicely. Good job! :D
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you liked it
Hello, your game made me smile because it has a pleasant atmosphere, including art design and music! Rather, the visual performance is one of the best (I think you have a lot of potential)! The only thing I didn't quite understand was at what point the loss occurs (although maybe I just didn't figure it out!)
Thanks for the feedback and for playing my game! As for the loss, it occurs when the corruption bar at the top of the screen fills up, and it fills up faster the more full grown eye plants there are.
The game is quite basic, but it has everything it needs to be called a game, and all of it is done well. The only thing is that the indicator at the top is way too huge and blocks a significant portion of the view. It would probably be better to make it smaller and place it outside the gameplay area. Maybe even make it vertical, so it doesn’t squish the gameplay area vertically.
And a small note on the graphics: on a 240 Hz monitor, the player sprite gets blurry during movement. I’ve run into a similar issue before — I think it’s caused by camera movement smoothing. Though I can’t suggest a proper fix, unfortunately.
Thanks for the feedback! I know it's pretty simple, but since it was my first game I was really just focused on getting something done, yknow? Also thanks for the note about the graphics, I don't know why thats happening, very weird.
I think a small but polished project is clearly better than a big one that simply doesn’t work.
Very good atmosphere, I like how after playing the environment changes, very interesting game.
Thanks for the kind words!
