Must respect the pun! Really cool esthetics, and quite fun gameplay

Great game, and such a wonderful interpretation of the theme! I love the art style a lot! Great work!

I like the blur style and the mechanic! Was difficult to me at the start, also as someone else said it has a bug sometimes when it restared. Anyway, it's a great job with the amount of time we had!

What a cool concept and the art style is so cool! Awesome game!

It took me a moment to figure out the controls, but I got the hang of it eventually.

I absolutely love the art and the concept. And the music, too. It’s just fantastic!

It takes a little while to figure out and get used to the controls, but overall it's a fun, well-made game. Good job!

Very fun! I loved trying to get a good time on it. Unfortunately I had a weird bug with the conveyor belts and dashing that would make me teleport after ending a dash. It actually gave me some cool speed tech on the conveyor belts that send you upwards, but once I got towards the end, the small rooms filled with conveyor belts were impossible to pass.

I loved what I could get to, though. And the graphics are beautiful :)

Loved this! You did a great job of teaching us different mechanics in rapid fire, but actually having it be pretty intuitive and build upon itself.

My one note: On the web, the game needs to be played in fullscreen to use the wrap feature (which is REALLY cool btw) but if you're in fullscreen, "Escape" will pull us out of fullscreen, so having it mapped to pause as well was a gotcha

The art style was so unique, your drawing of hands in all the different animations of it were actually REALLY good, hands are hard to draw. You captured a ton of different textures and objects, but had them all look visually cohesive yet easily differentiated. The low-res retro effect was *chefs-kiss* here.

I would play a full game of this, especially a roguelike, the mechanics felt really good once I got the hang.

Nice game! I love the art!! I love how the story is shown too! The controls are a little difficult to get the hang of, but I was able to do pretty well.

For future reference, I would mayyybe make the controls a little easier, and maybe a way to decide when the story should continue (sometimes I wouldn't quite get the chance to fully read the story).

Other than this, this game is super cool, I love the concept, and it's so nicely polished! Well done!

I love the overall look of this game! Good job! I had a hard time playing though, when trying to exit from one side to enter through the other. I think sprinting in the direction of the wall was the intended way to do it but then I would just loose control of the gear for quite some time. Maybe there should be a way to "catch" it to regain control of it again?

Developer

thanks for the feedback! were you playing in fullscreen mode? the wraparound doesnt work in non-fullscreen mode for some reason. hope this helps a little bit. and yeah we were planning on adding a "return to mouse" button but we couldnt get it working in time because it would keep getting stuck.

I mean, I was able to leave from one side to enter form the other. The issue I had was that, in order to do that I had to "shoot" the gear which made me loose it for quite some time. Anyway, it was a good game. Good job.

Developer

well yeah but in fullscreen you are able to do that without shooting the gear, making it a lot simpler. i have no idea why it doesnt work like that outside of fullscreen, it shouldnt work like that. anyway thanks for the feedback and we will try to fix this weird bug
