My nomination for the win

Great game
It's like "Overcooked" but about war plane
Actually I think the game it self would fit better for 2 players since it was really hard for me to manage everything myself

Developer

When we playtested it we also said to ourselves "coop would really work here" but doing coop in game jam project is a whole other kind of beast to tackle

This is a really cool concept and I loved the art style! Great job!

The best game ever I played in this jam.  Concept, art, gameplay, use of the theme. All of them is awesome. Good job! 🛩️💣💥

1. Its need coop

2. You need to get out of the danger zone to prevent the engines from breaking down, but you can't because you're instantly repairing them.

3.  - sir we maybe out of fuel

- what makes you think that

- we`ve lost engine one and engine two is no longer on fire

I tried really hard to keep the plane from crashing—I was so busy fixing the engines that I couldn't even attend to the weapons—but it went down anyway. I’m not sure why, but even though I was right next to the propeller and constantly hitting the repair button, I couldn't fix it; the repair icon would appear and then immediately vanish. (That’s actually why it crashed—because this kept happening over and over.) Despite that, the game was really enjoyable, and I especially loved the art style—everything looked so cute. Good luck with everything! Also, I’d be really happy if you could give our game a try whenever you have a spare moment.

When reading through the comments I realized we failed at making it clear that the plane will crash regardless of what you do. So the whole goal is to score as much point as possible while keeping the plane in the air for the longest time possible ^^

maybe my computer sucks but i had like 4 fps when trying to play which made it a little difficult :( despite that, the game LOOKS amazing and from what i did play the mechanics all work well, the tutorial is cohesive, and it looks like it has a super fun gameplay loop, just sad my computer is trash lol

Developer

Thanks for your nice comment! question do you have similar issues with some of the other projects?
Wondering if we messed up something in the building parameters...

Really good start to a game, but it feels like it is missing something.  Is there a way to win at all?

Developer

No, the goal is to have the highest score. I  did manage 2200 ^^

I was skeptical at first when I read the instructions, but you really pulled it off! Fixing the engines just before the ground comes up to meet us was genuinely pretty suspenseful and you actually build a whole working layout of a plane with like 4 interactions that all feel good in addition to a whole flight simulator.  I found it challenging, but really engaging. This much 3d work for a gamejam is also crazy! Definitely out of hand too
