What theme and how have you integrated the theme in your game?
A cozy pixel-art potion shop that descends into a blood-soaked cult night.
You play as a cute apprentice witch whose gameplay shifts from brewing simple herbs to scary stuff. The very potions you create actively fuel the horrific, twisted acts of a local eldritch cult.
Does your game qualify for category: "Best Use of Godot"?
Yes

SUPER COOL GAME! I loved the potion creation and how smooth and fun it was, you've all done a super good job with this :D
One thing was that the recipe book said one thing but the item on the table said another thing, even though they meant the same (roughly cut / sliced) - but that's no biggie since if you just followed the recipe book it'd turn out fine anyways. Great job!
great concept & execution of the game getting more messed up the further you get! the harsh jump cut between the elf and the chief was very funny and then the music getting creepy was really good. in theory the gameplay could be fun, but the amount of times you chop/grind an item don't line up with the descriptor they're supposed to get (eg chopping once instead of twice turns most items to sliced already, but then for the elf i could never get sliced and instead it gave me 'roughly cut'), which makes it really hard to get through the levels. that stuff should be easy enough to fix in future versions though.
I love this simple mechanics of dragging and dropping potion ingredients; and actually, I did a visual novel myself a couple of years ago about a witch who makes various concoctions!
This is really epic, I love all the recipes you included and the concept of mashing at the right time or chopping at the right time, for its short time frame of development this is really well done, but I can't seem to get past the Chief </3
I WAS MAKING STUFF, THEN SPOPOOOOOKY!!! really well done with the art! thanks for hanging with us in the livestream!! would like your rating and comment on my game!
Genuinely impressed you guys made a game this complex in such a short time, the gameplay is fun, i love the idea of having a timer adding a certain amount of stress to the potion making and the pixel art is beautiful!
Nice work, guys! The game lacks polish, but that's to be expected because of the short time frame. I love the concept, and the art is very pretty. Great job completing this project!
HEY THERE! I saw your post on facebook thai game dev group, The game is well made and has a lot of potential, artstyle, gameplay, atmosphere, music ITS SO GOOD like a horror version of potion craft, its pretty buggy because I cant really drag the crushed ingredients. Overall its crazy!!! I LOVE THIS!!! goodluck with the jam from a thai team as well
Didn't really understand what to do (if that's implemented yet). I can see the big plans you had for the game, and it is very sad that you have only gotten this far! Artstyle, overall atmosphere and gameplay are LOVELY. The entire introduction with the opening letter and dialogue in the beginning is great, too. Next time, make sure that you do the gameplay first before you do all that opening sequence stuff - that's cool to, but that way, you don't really get to play the part that's actually the nicest about your game! Good work yall've done!
Love ur artstyle and atmosphere look so good♥
Cute art in dark vibe! I like this game.
Love the art and the game play you are trying to do but some of the stuff is very hard to do. Like using the pestle and change the tool. Any way good job from the TGDC
