A challenging but fun platformer. I liked the concept a lot, great job!

Nice concept! It has just a couple of bugs, when you click two times X, you can do like a double jump, not sure if you expected that. And when I was reaching the top, the character got stuck into two blocks and couldn't jump again lol.

Anyway, simple and fun, I like it!

Developer

Thank you. Did not know there is a double jump bug in there, could have skipped while playtesting. For the last section I think I made it a bit rushed. Thanks for the feedback.

The game was great, but there seems to be a bit of a delay when jumping, doesn't there? I don't know—maybe the issue is on my end.

By the way, could you please give our game a try when you have some free time?

Developer

Yes there is some delay which I added. I tried to make it small but I understand it could be a problem. Thanks for playing.

Nice game, but with a better jump it would have been excelent

Developer

Thanks. other people have also pointed that out and I myself understand the problem. Will work on it later.

This is the coolest platformer! At first, I didn't understand what to do, but then I realized there are no walls here. I would like to see the graphics improved, though.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I was playing a lot of Kid Icarus recently, so I thought to make a similar one. The graphics were made basic intentionally so that they could be done quickly. Not sure if I would expand this idea in the future.

nice simple game. I had some problems getting used to the jump mechanic, since there's some delay after you press the key. good job.

I like the playable character! Looks silky smooth jumping and landing. One thing I want to mention it that your tutorial says A & D keys to move, only the arrow keys worked for me. I agree with the others about dialing in coyote time and jump buffering to make the game feel more fluid, you could also cut down the difficulty by letting the camera follow a fall, but you may have your reasons there, I suspect.

we both have screen wrapping in our games lol. pretty fun but it could benefit from some things like coyote time, jump buffering, and variable jump height.

Developer

Screen wrapping is a fun mechanic to play around with. And yes, there are some features missing. This was my first three day jam and wasn't able to manage the time well.

Submitted

Overall, a good platformer with a cool mechanic that lets you jump over the edges of the screen. I think the previous commenter was referring to techniques like coyote time and jump buffering. They would make the movement feel better. Good job!

This game is great; I love the gimmick of being able to wrap around the screen and use it to my advantage to climb the tower. I also love that you added checkpoints (thank god) and kept adding fresh mechanics that made the game fun to play! If I were to give feedback on one thing, it would be the player's movement. They felt a little clunky to move around, and I think the game would have been easier to understand if I could have moved the character better.  Oh, and I got softlocked between two blocks. Maybe a restart to the checkpoint button would be nice. Overall, awesome game and I enjoyed playing it!!!

Developer

Good to know you liked it. The softlock thing was probably a result of me not giving bug-fixing too much time. Could you specify the issue with the movement? It could help me in my later projects. Thanks :)
