During the Nightmare quest, I end up with both guys on my team, and they continue even after I wake up from the not-dream. Also, after that, when I try to finish the Dryad stuff, it freezes after the dialogue ends.

Hm, that's really odd. Perchance are you using an older save?

I don't have the save anymore. I lost it when I closed out of the game after it froze, and I'm using the free version

During the Nightmare quest were you still controlling Emma?

Yes, even after what I assume was supposed to switch me to Cross.

Ah, ok. I think I found the issue then.

If you you didn't do the small bridge cutscene during the prologue when controlling Cross and then later (eg after day 18) try to do it when controlling Emma the small prologue cutscene will still incorrectly play.

So I guess it doesn't really affect me anymore since I just avoided it when I got back to it from one of my earlier saves. I hope you can figure out how to fix it though.

I also can't confirm on my end since my earliest save is day 1 of being in the village.
