And you've got to write in tutorial that the player need to point cursor AT the lever and only then scroll the mousewheel. I stuck after briefing for 5-10 minutes didn't know what to do. And to start moving, the throttle should be in the opposite direction of the speed gauge. Is that how it works on a real train?
Anyway I really loved your game and want to finish it. And thanks for the ckepoint! They are so right to be there
Hello! i'm very glad you are interested in my game! i just saw your comment and im looking into any potential fixes right now. thanks for the helpful gif too! from the mouse cursor im guessing you are on windows. and i can also include a line about having to point the cursor at the controls! thank you
it would appear that it happens on both linux and windows (idk why i didnt think it would). and it seems to happen after pausing the game for like a minute or two... if i cant find a solution i might have to stop the game from pausing every time the menu is shown, which isnt so bad because of the checkpoints and its uhh short runtime
the problem is solved! turns out the changeling steam debuff was just not resetting after the game over in the final chase and had nothing to do with the menu, and such, you practically have invisible changelings letting off steam that you cant take off lol

good news! ive been able to reproduce the problem by running the windows exe with proton (lol) i just gotta see whats causing it
