Pretty good !!!! I really got into it ! there are a couple of things that I found really interesting and talked to me:

having non lethal ennemies is actually really good not to repel players!

I love when you need to pay expenses at the end of a mission (AC like)!

the fact that you can look around while drilling or scavenging is super super cool, like looking over your shoulder ^^

I think some visual feedback when drilling, scavenging, or repelling the worm would be good (I have the same problem in my entry, I was too short on time)

Even in the opening dialogue one must exercise discipline with the spacebar!

Well, I went straight for the worms making the breathing sounds, and when I read that right click was saw, I decided to find out whether I could kill them. No, but you could send them back into their hole for a short time. Some distance attenuation on the worms would help gauge whether the player has time to continue drilling a rock or not; the fact that the entire map can hear a worm on the opposite end can make gathering vs. repositioning more confusing than I think it needs to be. Sometimes tunnels would give you directinoal cues which gave a clear indicator of the worm's ETA, but some audio focus on that area specifically could really change the atmosphere for the better and open up more opportunities.

It'd be nice to get some reward for the end of an expedition that extends beyond a single run; currently it seems every expedition exists in a vacuum and has no impact on anything that comes after. Plot progression, mech progression, or at the most basic, keeping a running tally of total income earned (and maybe adding a simple win condition like "get $50,000 to bring your family and become citizens") would all add some depth and incentive to the game loop.

The atmosphere was good in terms of both visual aesthetic and aural ambience. The worm sounds worked even if the distance attenuation was absent. I like the cockpit, it was flavorful and unobtrusive. Not sure if the levels were procedural, but this is a nice start to a bigger game, and as it is, is a technically functioning game loop - tying runs together with a running tally or something would definitely bring it home. I'd almost prefer lore progression over tech, at least to start, especially given the possible unwillingness of the mining operation to invest anything into their equipment should one of their pilots (the player) start to make headway.

Well done on a good submission. I enjoyed the darker theme, as well as the plot outlined in the game page provided. If you continue at all after the jam period, hopefully you tie more of that plot into the gameplay, as I think it would go a long way.

very atmospheric, but dont click SPACE or you will in fact end up in SPACE

This looks really nice from what I can see so far, but I think I might getting a strange glitch. Keep spawning in a sort of black void and can't do anything?

Really cool, the vibes are quite horrific, I had a couple of bugs like noclip when I hit the space button, except that I think it’s a great job for a solo dev, keep going !! W

nice and atmospheric FPS dungeon explorer.

In a way this feels a bit like a sci fi take on the king’s fiels games, and the bizarre H.R Gieger esque alien environment adds a lot to that. Visually i really like how authentically N64 everything looked, i also liked how the UI was fully diegetic through elements directly present on the 3D mesh of your cockpit frame.

The main issue i’ve had is that the game seems to bug out every now and then, my first try had me spawn in a black void unable to do anything, my second try allowed me to explore for a bit only ton end up stuck on level geometry and jumping around actually put me out of bounds, 3rd try went a bit more smoothly and allowed me to collect 2 alien artifacts and sucessfully return to the elevetor.

So despite the weird collision issues i’ve had, this game is still pretty good, it has strong atmosphere, and i like how the gameplay encourages you to explore.

Overall well done :)

Hey there! I love the vibes and controls for this project.  The controls and UI were fantastic, I could really feel the weight  of the mech and it really sold the experience of piloting a mech. However I also had trouble getting it to load in which wasn't prevalent until after the dialogue which is unskippable so I watched the intro about 4 times before I could play. Then the jump button broke the game. I ended up floating above some unreachable cell in the wall.

overall interesting project!

well, you have an extremely good vibe that reminds about alien (and sound design work) but sadly that's way to glitchy, a jump was enough to kick me from the map, the first time I started the game I was already out of the map and it was completly black and i wish i could pass the intro, that's kinda sad, but you really got something with the artistic direction, a mix with the end of systemshock 2 (those weird monsters) and Alien, the music's good. If you fix those bugs you really got something + the main menu have such a nostalgic vibe, it reminds me (no idea what) but it works.

first couple times had to restart, spawned out of the map first time and then randomly teleported to an area i was stuck in the second time. super eerie vibe though kind of horror-y, i love the feel of piloting the mech and being able to look around and check for enemies while youre drilling.  enemies are really spooky and i like how alien everything felt while also seeming like theyre just creatures that live here.
