What's better

I'm making a game where you have to dodge obstacles falling from the sky in Godot, that's as much context i can give without spoiling anything. Do you think it's better if you just have to stay alive and get points until the timer runs out and then you beat the game, or should there be levels where you have to survive for a certain amount of time? Or maybe something else?

Think about the battle system of UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE. You are in a confined space where you have to dodge attacks, but you can't do anything during that time. My game is kind of like that, but you can only go left and right and you can only dodge there's no attacking

I mean you got two weeks, if you think you can handle it you could make some different levels with bosses and cool attacks, tho if you dont want to overscope just make it an infinite high score game or the certain amount of time idea

Thanks, I'll try to make it multiple levels instead of one endless thing if I try to do it in time

I think the levels are better. With each being focused on some sort of new addition to what the obstacles require you to do

fr I too think surviving would be more fun than collecting points
