Submission Description
After years of conflict and wars, the world has collapsed. AI and mechs have now taken over the fighting for what little resources remain on the planet. It is your job as one of the few remining pilots to take a stand against the Robots and Uframe and finally bring this war to an end.
Game Overview:
You will pilot Captain Hank and his fighter through short stages till you come to Uframe 206_2, the boss. You mission will be to get through each stage and then defeat Uframe. But there is a hitch. Every time you defeat the Uframe, it comes back. The concept is simple. An endless boss fight, while you descend a silo or level.
Uframe's catch phrase is "I'm Back!" every time you defeat it and then proceed through the short stage to the next boss level.

rated some time ago but did not remember to leave a comment. but it's cool, i get to listen to it for the third or fourth time haha.
clearly you have experience with writing music, so much intention in your tracks. i don't have much "critical" feedback to offer as the entire soundtrack is quality, but personally as a sound design enjoyer i'd have love to see what you can do with sfx but it's not completely mandated, what with your chosen instrumentation.
furthermore, i'm a big fan of the instruments and sounds you selected. the entire soundtrack is very cohesive while displaying intention, and the written context is super fun, but if i were to close my eyes and listen without the context, i hear the soundtrack as being futuristic, telling a story, sort of "space-themed" but i'm not necessarily directed toward the idea of mechs, ai and cyborgs. these are relatively minor nitpicks for a soundtrack that displays serious skill and intention.
fave track: Sector Alpha
Well crafted! I could see what you were going for, and I think you did a good job achieving it! I think for me, I really wanted the orchestra parts to come out more when they had a really cool idea. Like in Sector Alpha when the strings were trading the main line back and forth with that "piano-sounding" instrument, I wish the strings were a bit louder/more present to match that piano sound. (I have no idea what that was actually, but it sounded really cool!)
Good job!
Thanks! Yah, I was having a bit trouble with boosting the sound level on the strings haha. It was in fact a piano, just with some extra sound effects :). So you were right. Thanks for listening and giving your feedback!
Nicely done! I really liked the sound selection and a lot of the melodic ideas. I especially enjoyed how often you would trade off melodies between the different instruments to keep them fresh. There's a consistent sound to the project and I think I would just recommend working on mixing as it was sometimes difficult to parse between the musical ideas within songs. Great job overall!
Favorite track: Sector Delta
Thanks so much for listening and providing your feedback! For sure, mixing is the worst enemy! I have never been great at it haha. But that is a great tip, thank you. And great job in yours! I really enjoyed it.
i really like all of the tracks! i can def see what vision u were going for when making this, and i think all the songs work very well together!
Thanks for listening! Indeed, the vision was there, but I don't know if the execution was haha. I had some trouble with a few of the songs, but as you said, it all came together pretty well.
It is an impressive work. I could see the story in the music and the five songs were to my taste, I can't choose my favorite. Congratulations.
Thanks for listening! It was a lot of hard work, but I think it came out pretty well. I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked to of XD.
