I'll try and write this partially from a neutral standpoint + a personal anecdotal standpoint throughout my own playthrough since I've already spoke to the developer, have already read about their blog posts. I barely have experience with game development myself, I'm aware of the small time frame that it was created during. I don't want to criticize the game too harshly on mechanics of course though there's a few more QOL that could be added or touched up on upon since I have a short-term memory such as directions and more indicators. Although, what stood out to me was the writing--it's probably on the side of the more mature things I tend to read on the regular, there's a lot of things I wouldn't have known if not for asking the developer or read upon on since I tend to play games without looking too meticulously into things (mostly on first play throughs). I tried to play the game acting on instinctual appeal rather so I think that really effected my play-through. I love how nuanced the details were however, there was a lot of scenes and dialogue choices that spoke to me and hidden details that I learned about after the fact. The voices are super cool, it's a new concept to me personally. Upon hearing they were inspired from Disco Elysium-esque game was pretty cool. A piece of personal criticism--And I'm not saying that this should affect how every developer should write of course, plus, again, it was made within a week. but I think it could be a bit more hand-holdy with the beginning and explain the psychology behind them. Regarding the OST, 'The Docks' track stood out to me specifically, I liked it a lot, I listened to it during a study session for like 3 hours straight. That's it, I'll probably convey more of my thoughts to the developer themselves or something. Highly recommend playing it. I hope to see more of your future projects!!

This game is really good. There are so many things here that appeal to my tastes from the choice based CRPG character customisation in the beginning to the tilesets used (REFMAP is amazing).  Also the very simple but elegant window skin and the way map display names are shown are nice to look at, and I think it helps with the very moody setting of the game. The narration used throughout the game is also interesting.

I can't think of the name of the game that this reminds me of, but I love the vibes. The music I heard was stunning and got me into the mood of the game. I wish there was more of it while exploring the town. The writing is well done. I had to cut my playthrough short, but I'm definitely going to play more later. Great work!

Thank you!! I felt a bit insecure about the writing, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I wanted to make more tracks since I'm mainly a musician, but I ran out of time. Maybe for the future if I come back to this,

Patch 1.1: I forgot to add conditions to one of the story events (causing a skip in the start of the third chapter)!

Played through the whole game with this version, seems stable.
You can disable the quest window in the options screen (it's incomplete, so you won't miss much).
