I found the game very cozy and creative. I really like rhythm games in general, and this game's arts and the idea of it really made me like this game!

Wow this is such a creative and fun game. You are an incredibly talented game designer to be able to develop a rhythm game like this. Out of curiosity, did you make the music? Also what engine did you use for the game?

Developer

Thank you! Yes I did make the music and the game is made in gdevelop since its what Im most familiar with.

It's a nice game, but the level where you need to tap or flick with the mouse is not very clear. I couldn't complete it, but the other level was interesting and enjoyable

Developer

I didnt really explain it well (or at all) in game but the cues are the same, you just flick with the wormed fruits. Theres a practice minigame on the menu that lets you practice flicking (the blue one with the cursor on it). Thanks for playing regardless!

IT SAVES MY PROGRESS!!! SO GOATED

i'll finish this tomorrow but this is clearly one of the coolest, funkiest, and definitely my favourite game in the jam

so much charm and so much EXCELLENT work on the sounds

and so much island stuff!!!! AND it even surprises you with putting interesting things on an island you wouldnt expect, but still fits!

it is a tiny bit too difficult, and i suppose the pre-req could've been put in better, but the amount of effort and charm in this, with the fun story, and so good for the reason the boat is exploded, made me laugh

Developer

Thank you! If I had more time i definitely would have done little practice sections to figure out the controls but yeah still some charting like the last minigame are pretty harsh
