WOW i'm so good vertical burgers and i simply never tried before!!! I love the art here, i am so impressed that it all looks polished and gorgeous for such a short jam!! the music is perfect and the dialogue is a TREAT. I giggled the whole way through trying to triple stack my vertical masterpiece!!!
This is fucking awesome dude, laughed out loud with my friends as we were all voicing the characters and had a really splendid time. Can't wait for the Summoning Salt "The Quest to Reach 21 Patties" video
The fiddly physics of the burger-stacking really encouraged me to keep trying; it always felt like I should be able to get one more patty! In the end, I was able to get up to 8.
I think it might have be fun to have the default spawn position of the burger vary slightly to force the player to think more carefully about aligning the patties - though that would definitely have made things even more difficult!

The characters in this are so rad! love how wacky the music is, and of course "THATS HORIZONTAL"! I could only get 6 patties, game was tough but so much fun!

Really solid entry! The characters/dialog is a fun addition to the minigame. The minigame itself, maybe I'm bad at it, the most I could get was 5 patties before falling. Maybe giving some random sized things could be fun, making it more tetris-like. Is there a local leaderboard? I didn't see it. Good work!
Thanks so much for your feedback!! a stretch goal we had is to add vegetables and cheese but maybe for a later version! i also liked someone else's suggestion of the bun different orientations. -- so to be quite honest, i somehow completely missed the leaderboard stipulation until later than i wouldve liked and we didnt have time to add before submitting, it is something we could definitely add for a showcase but unfortunately it is lost to time. if that takes us out of the running or anything ggs, this has been a blast either way! <3
