I quite liked the horror tone the game was going for and how things got progressively darker as it became more dangerous to enter the mines. And the custom art used the game had a nice charm to it. The stealth mechanic was also quite interesting, but I would prefer it if there was a way to get enemy units to stop following me after a point. Because once I am spotted the enemies follow me indefinitely which is a bit rough since I instantly die if they run into me. But since they are relatively easy to avoid, it wasn't that big of an issue.

Yeah, I know,  one of the things that I think for the stealth section was the character holding his breath to become "invisible" to the 'things'. by the time I get the idea, it was too late, if I make a more polish version, the stealth section is one of the thing I gonna remake.

I really enjoyed the premise for this game! I hope you continue to work on this because there's definitely something here. The horror vibes are solid and left me a bit unsettled in a great way! I also enjoy the open-endedness of the creature and how you give more power to the player to figure out their own lore. I know English isn't your first language, so if you can get someone to help fix the grammatical and spelling errors, that would help. Great work!

I've started livetexting my reactions to games in the comments. So here's my thoughts literally as I play:

  • Firstly 0 ratings as of typing this?! Crazy! It cute!
  • Cute noises
  • Interacting with the oil lamp makes it take a step lol -- don't forget to get rid of that in future games!
  • Does "done for today" mean I placed the flowers? Hope so! No art changed...
  • I went back but then I didn't sleep or anything. Is it day 2 now?
  • Why does the Gameover music go so hard? 🤣🤣🤣
  • Day 3 and I've died twice uh oh...
  • The growing depression in the mirror is a great touch
  • The way you've done the stealth is simple, but that makes it clear and easy to play. My biggest problem with most stealth games is that they make things too complicated and obfuscate important info. This doesn't play around and the difficulty scale feels correct.
  • The final sequence started scary but eas a little too long once I realized nothing bad was gonna happen. If it'd be shorter, I woulda been terrified I was gonna mess it up.

However, this seems like your first game and if so, this is AN INCREDIBLE first outing. You knew what you could do and stuck to it! You have a ton if typos tho, so get someone to help you with your grammar and spelling. Otherwise, this is great. Looking forward to your next one!

AAAAWWW THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!

about the final part: the idea was that, when the monster was on screen, you have to stay still or he catch you and end with a Game over, But I don't have enough time for that  ;w;

Anyway! THANK YOU for the tips and playing my game! I Will be more careful with the spelling!

OOOH! Okay, I understand! That would be a really good ending -- that'll be a fun addition after the jam's over!
