Since everyone apparently appears to be looking for a team and nobody is assembling one, I have decided to make the objectively questionable choice of volunteering for exactly that.
About me:
- Basic Unity and C#
- Can use GitHub
- Have participated in exactly one game jam
- It did not go well
- Therefore, I possess valuable firsthand knowledge of what failure looks like
I’m looking for people who are also relatively inexperienced and want to make something manageable, do-able, and actually submit it.
An artist and composer would be especially helpful, along with anyone interested in audio, writing, design, or Unity programming.
My proposed leadership qualifications are:
- I can create a group chat
- I can create the GitHub repository
- I can keep a task list
- I can repeatedly ask, “Can we actually finish this in a week?”
- I am now deeply afraid of overscoping
This would be collaborative rather than “I have a brilliant idea and require workers.” We would choose the concept together after seeing what everyone can do.
Come join the world’s (probably) least overconfident game-jam team.

Hi! Apologies for the late reply however I was recommended to reach out by a member of your team. I'm an amateur illustrator and character designer inspired by promotional and concept art for games from around the mid 90s. Most of my work is 2D as a result but if you have room still left on your team I'd be willing to help out. Otherwise I hope your project goes well!
