Bit confusing because I didn't really know what "diagonal" meant. But once I figured it out it was pretty neat!

Interesting idea, and gfx look pretty clean actually, but is quite confusing to understand though I did get it eventually. But 2 levels didn't really give in depth puzzles.

If I had enough time I would have implemented more pieces and more mechanics to make puzzles more challeging, and I plan to keep working on it to reach this goal.

Thanks for the feedback!

I like it. You basically have to position the pawns correctly so that only one remains, I'd call it more of a puzzle game than a chess/strategy game. I would've definitely added the other chess pieces and more levels, I think it could make for some pretty interesting puzzles. The tutorial was also a little weird, took me a minute to understand how movements work lol. That along with some music and sound effects, and I think this would make for a cool puzzle game :)

Sorry for the missing of good instructions, I failed on that, but I plan to keep developing this game with more pieces and puzzles, to see if this projects can become an actual game.

Thanks for the feedback!

There are tutorial screens, but I still don't get it.

Developer

I am sorry for that, I should have write more instructions in the game page.

Basically you start in build mode where you can move the islands to build the puzzle, by pressing space, you enter solving mode, then you can move the pieces to capture each other until one piece remains.

Thanks for playing (or at least trying).

Only two levels, it would be nice with some more. Interesting idea. Feels more like a puzzle game than chess, since pawn moves so differently.

It was supposed to be a puzzle game, but my description might not pass the correct idea. I pretend to keep working on this to add more levels and pieces, but for the jam that is all I got.

Thanks for the feedback.

uh... im pretty much lost, have no clue :( it would be better if you could add more instructions

Developer(+1)

It would be really cool to add an in-game tutorial, but with the time I got, the hint screens before the game begins was the best I could do.

Thanks for the feedback.

I thought it's gonna be chess but hexagonal but its fine too, but is there anything past level2?

Developer

Nope, 2 levels is all I got, but who knows if I am able to improve this to a level where it can be a full chess game.

Thanks for the feedback.
