5/5 I really liked this game a LOT!

Developer

Thank you so much for your support!  Look forward to seeing what the judges think about it!

this is really clever, and the overall theme (UI, music) are really cool. Great game

Developer

thanks!  We put a lot of care into the UI and music, so it’s great to hear that they worked well together!

Developer

Atentamente, ChatGPT hahaha

¡Muchas gracias!

Very nice and chill puzzle! The handrawn art is so charming. I managed to finish it. I didn't find it particularly difficult but it's not too easy either, well balanced :)

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment!  We are happy that you liked the art and balancing!  We wanted to add some harder levels but we ran out of time unfortunately!

Really cool game, it's like 2048 but with level design. I like how walls/portals/bombs affected the game play. My favorite one was level 32 because it makes you circle back in an interesting way.

Developer

Thank you so much for such a nice comment! We are happy that you liked the level design, and yeah, finding ways to circle back was challenging also for us in the creation but very fun to implement!

This game is pretty addictive. I played it as soon as you uploaded it and now I realize it has more levels and new mechanics! I loved this game, my younger self would have loved it; I was very addicted to these types of games

Developer

Hi! Hope I can reach a lot of young people like this then hahah Thank you so much for the kind words!

love how simple it seems at the beginning but how hard and challenging it can get. funny wordplay using the shape for the game title. design is not too overwhelming and the music calmed me down while playing. very good job at creating this! you rock my friend!!!

Developer

Thank you so much for your support, Keenan! I opted for a chill hand-drawn shitty-done style that somehow fits the vibe of the game! It would be great with some of your music, though! Next time!

very complete game.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The polish really stood out, as everyone else in the comments has already been saying. I don't play  puzzle games often enough for other feedback, but overall it seems like a well executed concept using the themes. Good work with this game!

Developer

Hey thanks for your comment!  I am glad people liked it!  I also loved how cute your game is!

Super polished puzzle game, very nice cozy aesthetic and sound effects. Way more puzzles then I would expect for a game jam game! In terns of difficulty I had to restart some levels a few times but relatively easy throughout. Theme used very directly and works well :)

Developer

Thanks for your words!  Balancing the difficulty has been the biggest challenge of all here, also tried out different mechanics that did not fit very well in the game, so I am relatively happy with the ones we have now!

Submitted(+2)

Fun, smooth and polish.

The only downside for me is the small number of advance levels and the lack of a last big-boss level with all the mechanics where I gonna struggle for like 5 minutes (like in some other puzzles at this jam).

But that's not a big deal – the game itself and the idea are really cool, defenetly 5/5.

Developer(+1)

Hi, thank you so much for your words!

We wanted to submit more levels, but unfortunately we did not have much time given the logistics with family and other jobs, but it was the idea: that people felt how easy the beginner levels are and then get a bit stuck in the advanced tab for a while.  We think we will continue developing this after the game, so we will definitely add more stuff!

However, we had not thought of boss levels at all, that is quite interesting and very much worth giving a try!

Thanks again for your feedback, we really appreciate it!

Fun game, I like the teleport mechanic the best. It adds some noise to the puzzle so its not obvious which way to go.

Developer

I agree on that, we added bombs and walls too, we tried to add cursed tiles (ones that you only unlock if you merge around, but it did not fit well), but the portals give you that freshness you need to be able to thing strategically in two / three different points of the grid, we love it too!

Submitted(+1)

wow, amazing concept. really fleshed out and fun to play. I thought initially maybe a bit too much on the easier side, but then the last 10 levels hit =). Great idea, great execution. Your sound design is great! overall very cute. ++

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Really good that you mention the difficulty! We were a bit worried it might feel too easy at first. The idea was to let the player get comfortable with the mechanics and then make the last levels more challenging, so I’m glad that worked for you =). We still have a few more ideas, but let’s see if we have enough time to add them. Thanks again for playing and for the kind words!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah I think the difficulty curve is good! And I think this game deserves some more levels =) In fact, this could totally be a paid mobile game if expanded, in my opinion. =)

Developer

Cool that you think so! I am working for a newspaper and I wanted to try out some logic games so that I can come with them and show that the game had some kind of traction, so I really appreciate that you think like that!

Great Game man, cool spin to the idea of 2048, love it!!!

Developer

Hey, thank you so much for the nice comment!

It really clicks! Great and polished realization!

I like how tiles are reacting to mouse

What I think could be improved it is a restriction of turns, it's not obvious. I think it player's goal was to merge all hexagons in certain way it would be better It really reminds me of that little linkedin puzzles that I'm addicted currently =)  Great work!

damn, sorry, I'm new to Itch.io and dont know where I should post what. I've just posted the same thing as comment here, in game and as review LOL

Developer(+1)

Hey, thank you so much for the feedback! There are actually some movement limitations, but you’re right, they’re not clear enough yet (and, to be honest, probably not strict enough either).

I wanted to get the core loop out there already so people could try it, but I’ll keep tweaking the rules and presentation to make it cooler and easier to understand.

And don’t worry at all about posting in different places! Thanks again, really appreciate it!

Yea, at start I were planning to participate in jam myself, but i have other priorities for now. But jam is quite interesting, I want to learn C/Zig thru Raylib. So I decided at least participate in project review =))

Developer(+1)

Yeah, cool that you are there!  Maybe this is the spark you need to participate in the next one!

(+1)

Core loop is great! It works!
The rest is fine tuning, yea
