I quite like the way that the menu animation was done. It has a certain charm to it. Unlike many others in the comments, this is very much not my type of game, as I found it to be too simple and lost my interest. Still, I have to take in account that you only used half the time. What's here is pretty polished and honestly I think the choice of music was smart as it's catchy enough to keep people engaged. My suggestion for future games is to use a different pixel scale that allows for just a little more clarity and definition when it comes to the font. I found it rather hard to read.
