Nice simple game, I feel like using mouse controls makes it waaay easier (at least for the first 3 or 4 waves).
I like the music choice. The game is pretty monotone until wave 6 and then I quickly died :D It's a fun idea but the difficulty progression needs to be tweaked.
Timing is a bit off imo, starts quite slow for a long time, then feels good to play until ~round 5 and then quickly becomes impossible. But fun idea to get the hexagons you failed to shoot to become part of a bigger base that now becomes more difficult to defend! Love the background shader also :)
Thanks for the feedback! I really need to adjust the speed to improve the gameplay.
I like the premise, but I feel the REAL fun starts at wave 6, where there are way more hexagons and they're a lot faster too. Until then, there's nothing really going on, and the timer lasts for a long while too... The punishment for getting hit by a hexagon can be detrimental if they've formed a full shell around you, especially on the later levels, as by then you're gonna have barely any time to react, and so it's basically game over. Fun game though, I liked it, great job :D
Thank you so much!
Timer is quite slow, and it gets exponentially difficult if you miss a couple of hexagons
Thanks for the feedback! I'd like to improve the gameplay and also change the difficulty, but due to the deadline, I had to work on the shader. It wasn't showing up in the web version, so I had to fix that.
This one was a lot of fun, I managed to get to wave 5 without connecting a hex and once they started getting to me it was progressively harder to defend. Cool concept and good job!
Thank you so much!
