I'm trying to convert my old SCN files to the new EDCE format using the conversion tool, but I keep getting conversion failed.

Any hints or tips on making this work, or can anyone point me to an archive of EDCE-compliant maps and scenarios?

I can't help you with the conversion issue, a direct message to mok through these boards or his website might get a faster response.

In game there is the option to upload and download maps that have been put together for this latest version of Empire.  I have not looked at them for some time, but I believe all of the old scenario maps from ED, EDIE, etc. were there.

It is in the Build/Load A Map screen in the bottom left corner.  Hope that helps.
