i liked the art style a lot, i liked the ui, the birds were very cute! the music was decent, i liked the twist on flappy bird which made it quite interesting. this is a game that really takes the idea of flappy bird and twists it in really good ways! the random terrain generation is nice too! i also like the lines making it look kinda like im playing on a old tv

onto feedback. i wont harp on the obvious, there is bugs. some are more major than others but i'm sure you know of most of them. such as when my mouse is over the leading bird it starts tweaking.

this game is really hard! ill go through my experience to show why i think that, when i first booted in the game i hit a wall continuously and kept respawning. i think to fix that you could make the player start by pressing space again while the bird is frozen at the start of the level maybe. after that i finally did get the hang of it! it was quite fun but it felt very fast paced at times, the monkeys were cute but they felt they appeared randomly. i just think its kinda too fast and almost too random.

the enemies are really nice! i point that out here because i was curious on if shitting did damage? i couldnt tell if it did. if it does then it could be a good feature maybe to give extra points on killing enemies.

its quite unforgiving if you hit something right now, like i hit the ground once and unfortunately i lost 3/5 of my birds ):

i also couldnt understand how movement speed shifted very well. i didnt know where to place my mouse and when oftentimes.

all that being said! this is a solid game! i enjoyed it and i think it has a lot of potential, it does strike me with some nostalgia because flappy bird was a game i always used to play! thats a good sign, probably means you're heading in the right direction lol!

Thanks for the feedback and for playing the game! In the current state of the game, shit can only kill monkeys. Since the game plans changed a few days before the deadline, this feature isn't perfectly implemented, and you need multiple shots to kill 'em. But making the shit one-shot them and giving extra points is a great idea. After the jam, I will submit a version that includes everyone's suggestions and has the major bugs fixed.

Like the music and the twist on flappy bird type gameplay. I definitely think a menu screen could have helped since the first time opening the game just led to death, but afterwards it's not really a big deal. I liked trying to dodge the obstacles, but it was sometimes frustrating when the movement sped up or slowed down. I'm assuming it had something to do with whether my mouse was in front or above/below but it just made it harder to control. The music and artsyle was really well done, and I think if the speed was finetuned a little more I could definitely drop even more time than I did to go as far as I can. Very cool!

Thanks for playing, and for your amazing feedback! The jam version is very buggy, so I already finished working on a post-jam version of the game, which has all its main bugs fixed. I also added a menu, that asks the player to press space to start the game.

Very interesting concept! I liked how when you looked down and back up you went faster. I also got jumped by tigers so that was pretty funny!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed this game, even with all the bugs it currently has.

I love the art in this! The gameplay is sometimes satisfying in some parts and sometimes frustrating because you go forward realy fast when your looking down ever so slightly and in the harder parts that need more precise navigation it can be very frustrating. Still I enjoyed it. Well done!

I think you have something called "skill issue — joking! Yeah, there are a lot of bugs, but I didn't have the time to fix them all. Thanks for playing, man!

I will also try to balance out the game after the jam!
