This game has a very creative and smart puzzle mechanics!
But the last levels are pretty hard, had to skip levels 9, 11, 12, 13, 14
I think you should allow the soldier with the bazooka to be able move freely while in the air after launching yourself so that way it fills like you have more control over the soldier 🙏
Other than that, very nice and creative puzzle game! 🔥
A brilliant concept done injustice by time and experience constraints. There were a number of bugs such as ghosts not following perfect pathing, and cues not communicated well enough (Soldier aiming, crate only being able to be picked up once)
Still, this is a great concept! I felt a particular sense of satisfaction looking at my guys play out (and seeing how humorously, painfully slowly it took me to navigate to certain key points in reverse XD)
Music was well done! Keep at it! I'm certain you can make this a full polished release if you wanted!
SOLDIER YOU DONE A GREAT JOB
After you figure out the game play, it's such a nice puzzle and it really makes your brain cells struggle! It takes so much thought and complexity to make a game like this and you nailed it! great job!
Wow this game is super interesting! I only got a few levels in but the concept is so genius. I love watching all the past versions of me working together to solve the puzzle and it really had me thinking for a couple of them, but it was so satisfying when I figured out the solution. It kind of feels like an old flash game I might have stumbled upon as a kid. The music and military theme is really good.
My main criticisms were that it wasn't super intuitive how to win - I know now that you have to get the guy with the black and gold helmet to the finish line but it'd be nice if it was visually more obvious that they were the most important. Also if it was visually more obvious that one of them can jump really high, like maybe give them big boots or something lol.
I did mess up the ghost navigation a bunch which kept ruining the puzzles sadly, and maybe you could check off the levels that have been completed, but otherwise it's a pretty cool game that I might return to.
Noted - The ghost navigation is a point of contention for me as well, honestly. Managing the collision framework for it has been pretty difficult, and im 90% sure the issue is due to the player having one way collision with ghosts, while other ghosts have two way collision. It was the best way to solve a larger bug present with ghost navigation, but unfortunately not perfect. Thanks for playing! I'll keep these in mind for the next build.
Oh, and if you have any questions on level solutions, DM me on discord!

Great idea and execution! Very interesting game to play, well done.
Boxtrot V1.1.3 Patch notes:
Nearly every mentioned bug has been fixed. Go forth and conquer, soldiers.
Lads, we've got a day to bugfix. Ill catch you tomorrow.
Some notes:
This game was ambitious, and we plan on continuing this project after the game jam. That being said, we know theres quite a few bugs, some we thought we fixed and some slipped by. Below is a list of known bugs.
So.
Buggy? Yes. but a solid proof of concept of an idea that we've come to love. Although its worse for wear, we still hope you enjoy Boxtrot as much as we enjoyed making it.
And, a moment of silence for the features that didn't make it.
And perhaps, most depressingly to me,
They were two amazing tracks that simply didnt make the time cut due to some last minute errors with godot.
